I can't says that I know much about Rush. To be honest, what I know I learned here the last few days reading all the post about him. Whether I like someone or not I find it difficult to not feel sorry for them when they are suffering. IT kind of gives me a bad feeling in my stomach. ANd I do not wish suffering of any kind on anyone even if they are not nice people

Doctor Phil made a statement to a cheating husband once, he said "you are not sorry for what you did, you are sorry you got caught". I kind of feel like that about this situation. I heard Rush make the statement that he blames no one for this, that he takes full responsibility for his actions.(how noble of him, he has no choice right now) But the fact that "his" problem and "his" choice to be dishonest and abusive will be blamed on the drug itself. I imagine I am just reiterating what many have already said. But because of the drug, he became addicted, because the drug cause him to become addicted, the drug is a bad thing. I think the whole thing is a shame and it had to happen to such a prominent figure.

I do not care for the fact that he was pretty much talking out of both sides of his mouth when referring to drug addicts should be in prison or deported. I also feel sorry for the fact that he is shallow enough to do that. I would not ever want to be like that, I wonder sometimes if he had a hard time when he layed his head down to sleep at night? Oh well, Just had to type my thoughts on this.
