Yeah, I think you should go right back to your regular doctor and don't even let the office staff get to you. Explain to him what happened, he knows you, knows what meds you are on and your home situation. He should get you back on track. If you do decide to change docs, DO NOT send them any records from this doctors office if they have it labeled in your chart as a drug seeker. Also, If your doctor can, maybe you can have a phone conference. Luckily I have never been caught like that, but I have done it. You know, get a script from the ER, then the PCP the day after. It was probably the pharmacy that called the doctor. The way to beat that if you have been filling scripts from different docs is to go to a new pharmacy where you have never been and are not in the system and pay cash- no insurance. That way they can't trace it. Hope you get this worked out.
