Dont jump to conclusions to quickly, I'm not positive but i think that this is the guy that gave the woman 30 oxycontins a day, but i think they were oxy IR, which is 5mg, not the 20, 40, or 80 mg. And the reason was so she could actually take less of the medicine. Think about it 2 ea 80 mg tabs = 160 per day, with no way to take less but half the dose. 30 ea 5 mg tabs = 150 mg a day total with option to take only as much or finely adjust the dosage to meet the pain requirments. This a is an example i think of not getting the whole story. No one raises a eyebrow over 60 pills a month of 80 mg which equals 4,800 mg per month, but 900 5 mg pills which is lees actual medicine at 4500 mg per month sounds bad. Press neglected to tell that it was Oxy IR's. ALWAYS GET BOTH SIDE OF THE STORY BEFORE JUMPING ON A BANDWAGON. AND READ NEWSPAPER STORIES KNOWING YOUR GETTING A SPECIAL SLANT TO MAKE THE STORIE MORE HORRIFIC.
