Has anyone heard of this drug? Do you have any feedback? My main question is "does it work?"
Thanks :-)
OK.......When I first posted this question I thought this drug was for women. The commercial that just came out advertising this medication leaves one with the impression that it's for women. Maybe I've just been deprived for so long I was reading something into it that wasn't there.
Has anyone else seen the commerical?
BTW, is there a Viagra for women?

Believe it or not, I get those annoying emails saying there is "viagra for women",,, but the last time I checked, (and only using logic) I can't see why a woman would need Viagra..maybe I missed the picture here...
and to lovely11, i am only joking, so take this one with a grain of salt.
Take care

That being an inquiry, the latest scuttlebutt from Dick is, "Clitoris is just MiniMe".

There are a lot of different reasons why a woman would have sexual dysfunction.
Hormonal levels (especially testosterone) could easily affect a woman's desire to have sex. Medications, autoimmune diseases, cancer, high blood pressure, can all cause female sexual dysfunction. Viagra would not help in these situations.
Where Viagra will help is in creating more pleasurable sex in that the increased blood flow (that's how Viagra works, btw) would cause more lubrication, and quite possibly less pain during sex. It could also relax vaginal muscles.
But if a woman doesn't want to have sex, or can't enjoy sex as much as she should, I'm not sure if Viagra would really help- it might, it might not. If it is a psychosomatic thing, who cares as long as they get horny? I'm sure the women here can tell you what roles the qualities in a partner, the status of their relationship, or their comfort level play in all that. But it of course plays a huge role compared to men. It is not at all that men don't care about those things, but they don't seem to be as neccessary in achieving orgasm. Be interesting to her the personal experience any women here have if they have taken Viagra.

Here is your answer. Yes, I have tried it. No side effects but is not nearly as effective as Viagra when it comes to erectile enhancement.10 mgs of Viagra does me fine, but I have to put up with a headache. Have heard others though swear by Cialis. Try it. No problem. Is now FDA approved, get from your local doc.

As far as Viagra for Women: Is it not us it benefits in the first place? I had a female friend who took Cialis, she said she did not notice anything but the feeling of a bad hot flash. On second thought, she was the last person who needed something to enhance her desire.

TexasT,
The four hour thing can happen with any of those erectile disfunction drugs. But it is extremely rare. May sound like fun, but can cause permanent damage if you do not seek help. Bite a corner off a Viagra, nice little enhancement...

My doctor wrote the script for 20mg and told me to break them in half to save money. My appraisal of Cialis is it is a very transparent drug. You don't know you've taken it until it's called for. I can't speak for anyone with a serious ED problem, but as a diabetic with the symptoms just beginning to appear, it is fantastic! I forgot what it was like to be 14 years old again... It's not an aphrodisiac in the traditional sense, but the improvement has sparked more interest and activity from my wife, so in that regard, it is a bit of an aphrodisiac.
Biggest side effect so far is rolling over in my sleep with a nocturnal erection and pole vaulting off the bed!
Summary: 20mg halved, each lasts 2 days, 6 tabs per month would give you 24 days of effect. My local pharmacy is charging 11 bucks each.

This forum is not to discuss suppliers. This thread is to discuss Cialis and not the compnaies offering it. We have other forums for that.
Thank you for your support.

There are actually quite a few antidepressant meds (i.e. Trazodone) that can cause priapism - that's the 4-hour thing. ;-) Viagra doesn't do anything - directly - for a man's sex drive, it just helps the "mechanics" work better - so it's no surprise it won't work well for women.
I find it odd that after decades of research we still don't have a cure for cancer, but by golly, there's a boner pill. Shows you where our priorities are!
I thought it was pretty amusing that lovely11 thought that Cialis was for women, and I can see why - in the commercial, she looks more happy about it than he does!
Have you seen the one where the guy's throwing the football, trying to get it through a spare tire, hanging from a tree? Before Cialis, no way that ball's goin' through that hole. (Wifey's looking on by the way so the pressure's enormous!)
Well, after a shot of Cialis, the guy nails it! The tire with the football, that is.
All of these drugs were in the news recently, especially Viagra, for causing blindness in some patients - albeit rare. (I say check 'em for hairy palms too!)
Many times a loss of sex drive in both men and women can be attributed to a drop in testosterone levels. You can have your doctor check your levels.
Yep, women have testosterone too and when they don't have much of it, they'd really rather just take a nap. ;-)
