Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)

New NWW Website
      #99128 - 09/09/03 10:39 PM

I just got an email from them, announcing their new website. I can't activate my account, I keep getting an error message. Is this happening to anyone else?

Mine worked also. That's kind of strange...

i don't even remember what my old password was, so thankfully they did this. I always just used the link they send via e-mail for refills.

What I really like is the price list. There's always questions about how much NWW charges for meds, so now we can all know definitively. Also, activation was very easy.

It all worked fine for me. Hey, are the prices higher? I've never really known exactly what the prices were to begin with. I just hope the refills, etc. work ok. Remember when eRXonline updated their website? It never worked again! I'm sure the folks at NWW are more on the ball - the new site looks great. I don't see a section for refills - I guess they will just do refills as they always have by sending out the email?

Perhaps I should have posted this here:

Am I the only person that noticed that it's actually cheaper to buy your meds from them in a 30 or 60 pill allotment? You're paying $25 for Lorcet 10/ 30 count. Order 30 more (60 count) and pay $1 less ($49 for 60); add 30 more pills (90 count) and you almost double the cost of the $30 pills- now you're up to $82- this is $33 for the additional 30 pills. Okay, it's not quite doubled on this one, but to get 90, you're not getting the same discount as you would if you were ordering 30 or 60 count. Something is terribly wrong with that math in my book. Just my opinion, though, but I am entitled to it.

Brutus,

Thanks for NWW's phone number. I have one refill remaining and tried to use NWW's new system, but it only directed me to a new consult, not refill. I just phoned them and processed my order.

Legitimate: I know for sure that the Norco 10/325s are a lil' higher, I was paying $82 a script at NWW, now $91(90ct.).

I just had my second consult today with NWW and on the receipt email they sent me afterwards, the price of generic Norco is still 82$. Maybe that higher price is for brand?

Just curious...can anyone who has had a consult recently tell me if they are asking for medical records? I used them in the past I was never asked for them....just wondering how they are working it now.

Thanks!
Mad

To answer a couple of questions...

1) yes, they do want you to send medical records, but only when you are ready to order refills
2) That is the one bummer about NWW...they told me that they don't do more than 90 count on their hydro per 25 day period
3) I don't see why you and your wife couldn't both order from NWW...after all, you are two different people. Maybe the only confusion would be with the computer code (2 orders coming from the same computer). I would ask them first in their questions section before you proceed. Everytime that I have sent on a question (like yesterday when I had some problems ordering refills with their new system) they have sent me a reply within an hour or two

I asked Angela about two people ordering from the same household and she said that as long as the second person faxes over a photo ID, no problem.
