Ladies - have any of you heard of or tried this medication? Here is the link

Quote from site: If your sex life isn't always all you had hoped it would be, you aren't alone. Even if you are in a loving, stable relationship, it’s possible you may be missing out on the enjoyment and fulfillment of a full female sexual response.

Many of us experience a decrease in sexual desire or satisfaction at some point in our lives. Contributing factors can include stress, depression, childbirth, medications, or hormonal fluctuations, just to name a few. Many women ignore the problem, believing it’s just a natural part of life and not something that can be easily corrected.

You do have a choice. Today, there’s Avlimil. Avlimil is not a prescription drug. It is a gentle, once-daily, non-hormonal tablet shown to have a positive effect on female sexual response. Avlimil promotes better blood flow and increased muscular relaxation for an improved sexual experience. Not only that, but the ingredients in Avlimil have even been shown to combat the negative effects of menopause. Plus, the isoflavones in Avlimil can help restore a gentle normalization of estrogen levels at any stage of a woman’s life.

Discover for yourself how Avlimil can help you gently and effectively achieve a healthier, more satisfying sex life so that you can get back to being yourself again. End quote.

Just curious if this stuff works, I've heard it's expensive.

I was just getting ready to make a post about this. I ordered the free trial of Avlimil and just received it two days ago, so I can't personally attest to how well it works. BUT I have been reading postings on ezboard about it. The posts begin in one thread and then are continued in another. Here are the links:

There seems to be mixed reviews on the effectiveness of the product, but the business practices of the company selling it are rather shady. For one thing, they are not upfront about the fact that they are signing you up for a program to receive monthly shipments of the product - even when you just order the free trial. I would not have realized that I had been enrolled in this program except for reading the postings. One person posted that even after she canceled her subscription, the company continued to send product and charge her card. She had to cancel her credit card to put a stop to it. From what I read, some people received notification with their first shipment that they had been enrolled in the program. They called to cancel, were on hold forever, and then were given a secret website to go to cancel. I've posted the website here in case anyone needs it.

I did not receive anything in my shipment except for the product. I went ahead and canceled my subscription. In doing so, I noticed that they had a special link for people who received their shipments without the welcome kit. They offer an option to remain on the program and get your welcome kit. Seems to me that this is just another trick. I'll bet no one got a welcome kit with their shipment since the company started this latest trick. So if I had not read the postings people had made complaining about the company's bad business practices, I would have had no idea that I was automatically signed up for a program until I had received the next shipment.

I don't know if the product works, but I have no intentions of doing business with a company that uses such underhanded tactics. I will use the product I have now, and I will let you know if it works. I'll also report back later if they send anymore product in spite of my cancellation. The Avlimil website lists the ingredients in the product, so if I find that it works, I'll buy the individual ingredients from a health food store and take them.

Wow, that's good to know. I heard it takes up to 3 months to work. I think I'll pass, I don't like companies that do business like that! Thanks for the info and links, I'll check them out.
