An increasing number of states are passing laws prohibiting doctors not licensed in their state from remotely writing prescriptions for these states' residents. There are many variations on these types of laws. I would expect to see much of the domestic OP industry wiped out by this trend over the next couple years. However, a new type of hybrid I/OP is starting to appear. A good example is MexRxOnline. This is an international pharmacy (in Mexico) "immune" to US state laws, yet with the capability to ship domestically -- i.e. get the medications across the border and ship to you from the U.S.. It has not gone unnoticed in Mexico (& Canada) that there is a lot of money being made by OP's mostly in Florida. As the states crack down on the domestic OP's, we will see the rise in the number of I/OP operations like MexRxOnline operating websites outside the US, but shipping from within the US. Since the US Gov't has had minimal success stopping the flow of recreational drugs from Mexico, there is no reason to believe they will have any greater success stopping the flow of medicinal drugs.

I thought it had to do with the pharmacies. It has seemed lately when the OP changed pharmacies, that's when people in certain states were told they couldn't receive. I guess it could be a combination of explanations maybe.

Does Erxonline send the refill automaticaly or do they send you an e-mail reminder? I lost my login name so I can't just order them from there... perhaps I should just call pharmanet and I believe they can fill it for me since they were the pharmacy used. Thanks all who help.

You should get an email reminder, but don't be so sure it's correct. They sent mine two weeks early and the pharmacy wouldn't fill it. As to your log in, isn't there like a "forgot my password" link or something you can try? Your log in name is your email, so I'm guessing you're missing your password(?) And incidentally, they changed everyone's password when the website changed, so if you haven't placed an order since then, you wouldn't have your new password anyway. Good luck with them. God knows you'll need it. (You can see my prior posts to explain that one in the commments/questions and feedback sections b/c as you can see I chose the "crazy" post icon, which is what this place makes me.)

I got the 2 day shipping.
This is the first time I have ever ordered from them, so I just signed up yesterday and then ordered. So as far as the "forgot" password, IM not sure, I just know I was able to sign on their website and acsess my order.
Take care

I apologize. I believe I misspoke. It's not erx that uses your email for your user name. I believe when the website changed, I had to call to get my new password. If you have to do that, I'll tell you it's no fun. But if you can, use the 305.264.4009 number. You will have to try a few times, but you will NEVER get through on that 800 number and if you do, you will just get cut off. If you want to try it, it is 800.551.4009. Good luck.

No, the problem is I must have given them the wrong e-mail or something, or else I have forgotten my login.

I hate ERX and have just put a charge back on my card because of them, what a rediculous bunch of people. They charged my card and then denied/ or as they like to call it partially denied my order. I think the only thing partial here is that they weregoing to take the cash. Best if kept off the board, them!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I don't post very often, because I usually don't have a problem, but I have been trying for almost 3 weeks now to get my refill through ERX and they sent me an email saying it had been shipped and sent the tracking number and nothing ever came. I checked the tracking site and it showed that the billing information had been sent, but that's all. I have sent numerous emails to ERX and have tried many times to call only to get a busy signal or constant ringing with no answer. I finally called the pharmacy that was listed on the original email with the tracking number and they told me they had absolutely no record of me anywhere. I have used ERX for about 3 months and have never had a problem.....but this is ridiculous. I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Thanks very much,
basenji

Basenji -- I'm having exact same problem with my (last!)eRX refill. My UPS tracking number has indicated "billing instructions received" for a week now. They charged my credit card over a week ago. If refill doesn't get scanned by a UPS facility by Monday, I'm going to do a charge back on my credit card. Pharmacist at Speed Script, whom you can actually get on the phone, told me she fills it and ships it as soon as she gets the UPS label from eRX.

Basenji,

I had a similar problem. The med was hycodan, and I was told when I ordered I've have two refills. It apparently came with no refills from the pharmacy, but erx still had it listed as two refills. So I order a refill and I get "billing info received." I have since learned that all this means is someone printed a label. Eventually it fixed itself when erx cancelled the order, but their idiotic system kept me locked out of that med for another 28 days, even though I never got the order!

The med was such a ripoff I didn't even bother with their barely existent customer service, and they never actually charged my card either.

cgelo1,

I am going through the same thing you are. I was partially declined and after hours of trying to get through to the CS department they said I needed to take a smaller dose of medication. That was ok with me if that is what they said I needed, but the website has never updated and I have not received my meds and should have had them by yesterday!

My account still says partially declined although the CS ladies (Jackie and Vanessa) assured me that my order had gone to the pharmacy and had been shipped, but they could not give me a shipping number.

Also I have emailed them over 5 times now and got no response from them at all. If my meds are not here by tomorrow I am going to do a charge back on my CC and tell them to kiss my a$$. That is the worst CS department I have ever dealt with.

BTW does anyone know the number to the pharmacy they use and the name b/c I would like to call them and see if they have any records of my order? Also do they use UPS or FedEx?

Thanks!!!!

Peace,
Hydro78

Hydro,

I called the pharmacy that was on the information page when they sent me the tracking number (that was three weeks ago!). The pharmacy told me they had absolutely no record of me at all. They sounded very sympathetic but there was nothing they could do because ERX hadn't sent them the script. I have tried calling ERX dozens of times only to get a busy signal and there has been so response to my many emails. I am extremely upset that they charged my credit card, sent me a tracking confirmation and I have gotten nothing! This is so bizarre. Good Luck to everyone who is in the same boat......I just wish there was something that all of us could do to get them to respond.
