erx - new refill procedure
      #93914 - 08/15/03 11:30 PM

it has changed - does anyone know more about a message that says:

Your Refill Activation has been recieved, you will be send
an email when your refill activation has been approved.
(usually within 2 hours during normal operating hours).
- Thank You.

I have a refill left, but there is a 0 above the message. any help/ advice would be wonderful as it is the weekend now, so I can't call and ask them about it til monday.....i'm not stressed, just curious about the apparent new procedure.

best wishes to everyone.

I refilled about two weeks ago via eRX website. Received email with the name of a podiatrist and a FAX number to send my records! The FAX number never answered, nor did eRX phone (always busy) or their email. Waited a week trying to call and email and FAX. Suddenly one day UPS status information changed from "billing information received" to "arrival scan" in Miami UPS facility. Package arrived three days later as UPS "promised." One time during the week of waiting, I talked to a pharmacist at SS - she indicated that eRX handled all the UPS paperwork and she filled and shipped the Rx as soon as she received all the paperwork from eRX. She was very professional and I believe her. I think even Pharmanet is in the same bind -- received Rx in 24 hours from Pharmanet, when OnlineMedications.net was the OP. IMO, eRX disorganization is the major problem, not the various pharms.

ERX is using a new Pharmacy and I requested my refill at about 1 am on 8-15. By 4 pm on the same day I received my tracking # and I'm using the 3 day service. I went to check the tracking# and it said billing info recieved which means UPS will pick it up Monday and I should recieve Wed. hopefully. The last time I used 3 day service it only took 2 days to recieve. After paying 40 $ for next day air when I first used ERX back in January and it took about a week to get my package I decided to use the 3 day which is 25 bucks cheaper. My advice is to use 3 day service with ERX if you want to save some money,( I work for UPS and know that 3 Day doesn't neccisarily mean it won't be there in 2 days ) it will take close to the same amount of time to recieve ( within a day or 2) so why pay the extra money when it's NOT going to be there the next day?? Just my opinion, but they're kinda high on prices anyway, so I try to make up for it by paying less for shipping. Thought I'd share this with my fellow board members!!! Take care KO

I also asked them by phone about the "records" message. They said, no, not necessary for a refill. I didn't get into a conversation at that point about what happens when I have to do a new consult. I really don't think they are going to require it, but that's just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Golddust, I got the same message in an e-mail, finally got through on the phone today (Monday morning) and my last refill is being processed. Since you're getting the same message as I got, you might want to keep calling ERX and order your refill on the phone. That's the only way I could get mine to go through. They did go through the forms just to verify it was me on the phone, I just received another e-mail and it's already at the pharmacy, no consult fee for the refills. Good luck, let me know if you need any help, you really just need to keep hitting "redial" over and over even though it's aggravating. EMJ

How many days do you have to wait for a refill?

Not sure, they seem to vary on how many days you have to wait. This time I actually went over the 30 days, but I believe in the past it was day 27 or 28 from the date on your bottle. I'm not sure what their policy is now, hopefully someone else will know. Hope this helps some. EMJ

Golddust, did you ever get through to ERX? Just wanted to let you know I ordered my refill this morning over the telephone, just checked my tracking and it's already on the way. I personally have never had a problem with them, but I know many others do. I really believe in calling instead of going through their website, it's aggravating to keep calling until you get an answer but it's worth it if you have the time to call until you get an answer. I know they have meetings until about 10 am EST every morning so if you can call a little after 10 o'clock they usually answer. Let me know what happens. I think I had an angel over my shoulder today because last week I couldn't reach them at all. EMJ

thanks - I got it worked out and it was a really easy process once i figured it out. i ordered a little late just before a weekend, so nothing was processed til monday. it was very easy once i was used to the new process. the only thing that threw me was the new language, but I wasn't too stressed b/c I kept the faith oh - i got a tracking number almost immediately.

...which was wonderful, it linked straight to ups.com

Hello there Yes I had the same experience with their delivery methods so nobody waste their $$ on overnite air as it gets to you in the same or sooner amount of time. recently had an order in with eRx & they cancelled it & didn't refund my $$$ after MANY phone calls & lots of promises they still didn't refund so I took it up with my cc company & got all my $$$ back, they will be following up with eRx but we all know how they answer their phone lines down their in Fla!! Just wanted to pass that info along to everybody.
Have a blessed day.
