I was reading an article in the Dallas Morning News yesterday about people complaining that some generics are not as effective as the real deal. At the end of the article they suggested people report problems with generics to the FDA at FDA
I don't know if you can do it anonymously, probably not a good idea to complain about generics received from OP's but I thought it was interesting just the same.

You know they keep saying that generics are "the same", but I think I read that they can be within a 10% difference and still be considered equal. Am I full of it?

Generics can have from 20 to 25% difference from "brand" drugs. And, as my Dr. says, "You never hear of the drug companies putting 20 to 25% MORE in the generics!" Through a painful journey of over a year, he determined that I cannot take generic drugs, especially pain meds. He tells me that this sensitivity is not uncommon, even though the FDA, and everyone else says that there is no difference, Not true---at least for me.

I too am in the same boat as far as generics go. I have tried several types and different times and just can't take them. The latest example was generic lorcet. It gave me massive migranes and made me feel like I had drank a pot of coffee to boot. I have verying degrees of this reaction to all generic meds for some reason. I am very suspicious of all of them. I am glad though that some can tolerate them. Not me though.

14stones....have you tried the 10/500? There is actually a pretty big difference, might want to try them next time. I prefer the Watson and they were a lot easier on my stomach than the 10/650's.
