Well, continuing in my run of bad luck trying to obtain much needed meds, ERX DENIED my script for Xanax, or let's just say, they wanted to cut the dose in half and still charge me the same amount for it. I chose to use them again, because unlike so many others, I never had a single problem with them. Needless to say, I cancelled the order, but I still have to pay the 65.00 consultation fee, per the terms of their TOS. No reason was given, and I can assure there is no DD'ing going on. What a freakin ripoff, but that is how my luck is running these days...anybody else have this problem before?

Kandi, don't know what's going on, I'm just trying to get my last refill from Speedscripts, but can't get through to ERX. I tried on the website, so we'll see. Will keep you posted on what happens! Who knows! EMJ

I didn't have a single problem with them when I placed my first order, but was hesitant to refill with them as there's been so much negative feedback as of late. Still, having $100 as opposed to nearly double that for a consult with a new OP, decided to get my refill from them. I ordered yesterday and it's on it's way via UPS as I type. They seem to have made a lot of changes on their website- saw it being referred to as "NewRXonline". Also, the email correspondence has been great! But, I thought I entered the wrong expiration date for my CC, lol, so when I tried calling to let them know, the phone rang and rang- no answer, no messaging. I tried emailing as well to no avail- not a response *shrugs* guess if they don't need my money, they don't need it

Greycie, did you get the e-mail letting you know you had a refill? I just got an e-mail basically saying I had a refill. Nothing else. What should I do next??? Do they process everything or do I have to e-mail them back with any information? This is just very confusing, please let me know what you did when you put in for your refill yesterday? How did you get a tracking #? Thanks so much. EMJ

OK, now I go to their website and it wants me to fill out the forms...no way. The e-mail says "you are eligible for a refill from ERX, have a nice day" It also states on the website that I have one order but when I go to check on that order it's dated June 13! I am really getting confused, lol. Please, if anyone has done this recently let me know what I should do next. I only want my one refill so I am not going to fill out the forms again for fear of being charged for another consult. Many thanks. EMJ

EMJ- when you log onto the site- on the tool bar- go to 'refill'. Click on that link. It will take you to a page that will allow you to request your refill- looks like somethings have changed- I ordered mine via ground delivery- sure it'll take a few days, but at the rate it got here last time? No longer, I don't think. Anyway, I got the email, but couldn't afford my Refill until now. You have to request it via the refill link and it should walk you through it- it'll show your order and then you click the consent buttons and that's it- give them your cc info and verify mailing address. Lemme know if this helps!

One more thing, EMJ- once you've successfully ordered your refill, you'll most likely receive an email telling you who your Dr. is and his number and fax number. It will ask you to fax your records and ID to your doc and some other things. This will also be in there:
The physician will review your information and give you your consult shortly. If the doctor agrees with your request and deems is necessary and
appropriate then your order is approved, your package will come to you
within 24 to 48 hours. (With the exception of Saturday, Sunday and
Holidays) If you have chosen an extended form
of delivery, please allow additional days.
Do NOT be alarmed and fret that you need to fax them your ID and medical records. That is NOT necessary for a refill- this information is regarding consults- not refills. I know that language will confuse some people, but just wanted to give you a heads up so it didn't confuse you
Good luck!

Greycie, I just need my refill, when I log into the refill section it tries to put me through the entire consultation. I already have a prescription with ERX with Speedscripts, just want to have it refilled, don't want to have to pay another consult fee. I'll try again, did you have to fill out the entire form just for a refill? Thanks so much, I appreciate the help. EMJ

I know that you're just trying to get your refill- I don't know why you're having such a hard time with it unless it's one of those that got caught in the transfer to the new website? I'd suggest calling eRX directly, but I haven't had any luck getting them to answer their phones or email! Sorry Oh, and no, I did not have to fill out the forms all over again- just a click of a button to 'request refill' and then giving up my cc info.

Thanks Greycie, I will try again and see if I can just skip over the consult part. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Will let you know. I won't be back until Sunday so will post what happens. Thanks again. EMJ

EMJ- I do recall a thread just after I placed my initial order and I believe somebody mentioned having to select the consult and when they talked with eRX, they had it refunded. If you're being asked to pay for the consult again, I'd definitely try getting ahold of them via telephone to place your refill order- I think somebody suggested that when they'd done that, they didn't have to pay for the consult. Again, good luck!

I was able to do a refill witout sending anything. I think that's just for them to look legit on the new site. Of course, they ripped me off again for brand vs. generic hycodan, but what're ya gonna do...

Last weekend I got the email stating I had a refill. Log on to their site on monday to place my refill order. After doing so, I checked back on their site about an hour later and saw that the order was processed and tracking number issued. I also got another email about sending ID and stuff but blew it off since a tracking number was already issued. Tuesday morning meds were received via UPS. I do think they have gotten much better at processing refills.

Greycie, I got through to ERX this morning and my refill has already been processed and it's on the way. I just kept calling until I reached them and they updated my account and did not charge me a new consult. I appreciate the help. Take care. EMJ

There was a fax number for me to fax my records to. I HAVE records, so I tried it, but it was busy for an hour before I gave up. Then I figured the fact that THEY had prescribed the med to me before should be sufficient as far records for them...no reason was given for the denial, except "my history". Hellooooo?? My history is 30 years of severe panic attacks, whih is what the med is indicated for. BTW, thankfully, I did receive a credit on my CC (minus the 65.00 consult fee) without having to threaten to sue them or anything. I was surprised by this.

You've just described almost the exact same thing that happened to me with erx. The doctor cut my dose but still approved the order. Then I called customer service and the woman told me my order was denied because I'm getting my meds from another source - which is entirely false. Plus, this was my first order with any OP. Easy way for them to make a quick $65.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to change to brand name in the middle of a refill. I think you'll have to cancel and start over with a new consult. When my husband tried to order a refill through their new site last month, he had to basically recreate his old order from the old site, just so his original order was in their system. So he did that, but accidentally put brand instead of generic, which was what his original order was. When he went to order the refill, it went through and was sent to the pharmacy, but the pharmacy would not release it because it was brand and not generic. So he called customer service, after about 30 redial's got through, and they said you could not change brand/generic without doing a new consult.

I don't know why this would be a problem. My local pharmacy (CVS) lets me switch from brand to generic (or vice versa) if I think one works better than the other. For example, the last time I got a script for vicodin I filled it generic only later to find out they switched from Watson to Mallies. Well I hated the Mallies and told the pharmacist this when it was time for a refill. The friendly pharmacist said no problem and just told me the price difference so I would not be alarmed. The pharmacist doesn't even have to call the prescribing doc or anything. Just try to call the pharmacy instead of ERXonline and see what they say. I haven't used ERX in months so I can't say for certain what will happen but you can always try.

I totally agree with you, at a "normal" pharmacy, it probably wouldn't be a problem, I'm just offering my husband's experience with ERX.

If you call Speed Scripts they will tell you that you have to order refills through ERX's website.

If your having problems with refills on the website, Myself I called and it was shipped the sameday. Seemed easier and very quick on the phone. I called early in the morning and talked to a Customer Service rep.
