Somas "knock me OUT!" But everyone is different. I make sure I only take them at night. I also tend to feel groggy the next day if I take them too late at night. Hope this helps.

I find that Soma only makes me a bit drowsy if I am sitting still. Otherwise I only notice relaxation.

For me I didn't notice a thing. I even took two at one time, and didn't notice any effects. After trying it for four days I quit taking them because they weren't doing anything for me. At least, not that I noticed.

Soma makes me very "woozy" for awhile, really out there and spacey. Then it just puts me to sleep, very well. It does tend to lose it's effects if I take it for a few days in a row.

judt to follow up the somas were the watson and they are potent. they knock me out so I only take them at nigh. I had tried another brand i belive the imprint code started with an A and I did not feel anything. so these watsons are very helpful

I just got some somas and they haven't done a thing for me either.Perhaps, I need the Watson brand,b/c I think I have the Danbury kind.Which I know Danbury doesn't do nothing for me at all,no matter what med they make.I took two and it didn't seem to work. So,I think I've wasted my money on this.Interestingly,I found out about where "Soma" came from and it's derivative. It's a long-long lived type of medicine,Freud even noted that Soma did have some distinctive characteristics and in Psychology Soma means=Mind & Body;if i'm not mistaken.I'm gonna check this out for sure.Just my little FYI,for today guys.

Definately makes me drowsy, so I only take it about 45 minutes before going to bed. When I first started taking Soma, I had a really difficult time getting up in the morning and just felt like a space cadet (well, close to my usual self) for the first hour or so. I had a little bit of dry mouth too and occasionally have nightmares...oh, and maybe a little bit of forgetfullness (or maybe it is just age! ). Don't worry, your body will get more acclamated after a couple of weeks, but I wouldn't be operating any heavy machinery if I were you with this med during the day until you know what to expect. From everyone I have talked with who has taken Soma, it is a doozy!

where benzos (valium, xanax, klonopin, etc) relax the mind, muscle relaxers do just that ~ relax the muscles without really affecting the brain. kinda give you a jellowish feeling. the getting 'knocked out' thing will pass. i dont recommend driving while using either class of meds, & stay away from alcohol especially!!!
this is true from my own personal experiences.
