Who can I get an online prescription from and how does it work? My new employer offers a mail/online prescription benefit and it kicks butt! How does it work? I know I have read some posts about it, but I can't seem to find any good info on it. I have already wrote off my general pc doc because he is a jerk and would never give me the scripts that I need. Please help????
Hey. All you have to do to order is click "doctors consultation" and fill out the form. The doctor will then call you (usually within 24 hrs) to discuss your medical condition. They usually prescribe a 1 month supply with 2 refills. I don't know how the insurance thing works. You'll probally need to email the site about that. You will definitely have to order within the U.S. I'm not sure if www.Tropicalrx.com is in the U.S., but they are offering free doctors consultations and free 2 day shipping. The products are very reasonably priced and they offer a lot of controlled meds such as hydrocodone and Vicodin. I hope this helps. This is actually my first post. I've read almost all the post though.

If you have access to your medical records I would suggest somewhere like Norcoworldwide. com or youronlinedoctor.com
Tropicalrx is good if you don't have records, but the doctor's consult isn't free it's just included in the price of the med. They're good though if you want to order meds and get them the next day. Also, with Tropical the doctor will more than likely not call you, you'll just order online and depending on the shipping you select you could get them the next day. However, with NWW and YOD you order a consult and the doctor calls you the next day usually and just briefly asks you what meds you want and a little about your condition. Both of these sites are $120 for the consult and they give you two addtional refills. The meds are a lot cheaper than tropical. Generic norco #90 from NWW is $82. YOD is actually offering a special for 3 refiills with each consult. And if you become a VIP member of DB you can get a discount for each place. All of the OP's however will not deal directly with your insurance company, what you'll have to do probably is pay up front and send in the reciept for reimbursment, though I'm not sure. You'd have to check with the company and your insurance.
No matter what way you go the OP's are definitely worth it, a little pricey, but better than dealing with jerk-off doctors. BTW, tropical is in the US. Again, though I would really reccommend the sites that require some sort of documentation, it oculd save you butt in the end. I know NWW doesn't require records unitl you get your last refill filled, and some from what I've seen posted haven't had to ever fax them in at all...you never know. Another thing to consider is that the customer service is often better at sites like NWW or YOD. If anything would happen to go wrong, you'd have to wait days to get a response from Tropical. Well that's my 2 cents, I've only been doing this OP thing for two months or so. But just read through the posts and do your own research, all the information you need is on these boards. Good Luck
