Legitdrugs.com--What Pharmacy?
      #94489 - 08/19/03 09:37 AM

Does anyone know which pharmacy they are using? I have a refill available but the original order came from Pharmanet. With all the problems going on with those guys, I was wondering if anyone knew who they are using now.

They currently use St. Peter's Apothecary which seems to be very reliable and professional. Good Luck!

Sorry about that. I don't know what I was thinking or if I was even thinking at all.I'll remember not to post when I am sleepy( it's been a rough week-- along with having a terrible migraine headache the last few days, my 4 y/o son started school and already became sick with tonsillitis and all that goes along with it- including crying alot at night
and not sleeping well, meaning not much sleep for me either). Anyway, no excuse, I did know that legitdrugs.com
used Pharmanet(because I ordered from them previously)
and that is what I meant to put, but I guess I was thinking about the last OP I placed an order form which was NWW and they use the pharmacy I listed by mistake. So again, sorry for the confusion and I'm glad you received your meds without any problems. Have a good weekend!

Thanx Deena,
No problem. I was impatient & ordered before anyone replied anyway. I was very surprised to see that it came from Pharmanet with all the problems they have been thru. In the past they have been a reliable & professional pharm. I hope they get all their difficlties worked out. Thanx for the reply & good intentions. Everyone here is always so nice & helpful I am glad I found this board. Thanx to all!!

I read somewhere that they require a port-a- medic? But this may have changed. Or I have no idea what I'm talking about. That's totally possible, as I have posted wrong things before.

I can tell you what I know, based on my own personal experience, which may differ from that of someone else. So here goes- For my first consult(which is supposed to be free though they charge you a $35.00 administrative fee that I thought, according to what I read on the website, was a fee non-refundable only if the M.D. failed to write a prescription, otherwise the amount would go towards your precription cost. Apparently I was incorrect because I had 2 charges on my credit card, to my surprise, one for this admin. fee and one for the medication. Anyway to answer your question. Once you complete all of your ordering
information and submit it you receive your order confirmation which states that you must fax I.D. and medical records ASAP for the M.D. to review prior to your consult-which I did, though most of the records I faxed were
results/reports of CT scans and a MRI of my brain as well as complete blood work results (I wasn't really sure what they actually needed). Shortly after I received an email indicating when I would be called for my consult(the following day) and later I received a phone call informing me what time the M.D. would be calling me. I received my phone consultation as scheduled(about 5 min. early) and it was the P.A. for the M.D. She was very nice and showed genuine concern for my illnesses. The consult lasted approx. 10 minutes. She told me they would need a copy of a history and physical form within the last year to show I had been examined by a M.D.but that we could go ahead and process my orderthat day and I could send it before my first refill(which I actually just finally received from the M.D. I had been requesteing it from- and I just ordered my first refill and received it with no problem--I even got an email reminder--). They definitely don't require a porta-medic (maybe they did prior to 3 months ago when I first ordered-don't know). I was very satisfied with their service as they always responded to any questions I called or emailed them about regarding my order. They use UPS for shipping. Also after my first order I received and email stating my remaining 2 refills would receive 20% off my meds and free shipping, though the prices of the medications had all increased somewhat. I did experience some problems with the pharmacy- Pharmanet but as far as LegitDrugs they seem to be very reputable. Hope this helps. If you want any other specific info, etc. you can PM me. Have a pain free weekend.
