I've have done something fairly risky. I ordered from an OP last week. I have recently moved to Germany and I am not familar with the laws and/or risks of ordering from these places in my new country. Does anyone have any info regarding this? Thank you so much.

I found this, don't know if it will help anyone in the same boat as I.
"In the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland Holland, Switzerland and other countries in Europe , authorities there are tolerant of this practice as long as the quantities imported are small and clearly for personal use."
The practice being importation of medications for personal consumption.
Don't know how accurate the souce is though.

Where did you find that information?
It is my understanding that the countries you mentioned are the less tolerant. I think they will not allow any meds to enter their countries, if detected, unless a valid perscription is shown and duties are paid. Germany most likely will not allow any meds not coming from the European Union with or without a prescription
The U.K. does allow meds for personal use, many menbers reported having to collect their meds at customs, or the customs area of the post office, and paying the VAT (Tax)...
Small and well organized countries like Finland and Norway have excellent custom services, they will separate any pack if they think the can charge you some taxes, then if it is prescription meds they will ask you for a valid prescription.

I don't remember where I found the information. Thats certainly not what I wanted to hear. So you think that German customs are more strict than U.S. customs?

Hi, I usually do not read this section as it mainly concerns US matters.
I'm German and I order from OPs since about 2 years. The regulations for importing meds look like they were written by the lobby of the pharmaceutical industry. In fact it's impossible to import any meds, no matter what kind you ordered. I always placed small orders from OPs known for their discreet shipping methods. I had one seizure since then, this was the OP's fault. Fortunately ordering from OPs is not a crime, you just tell customs that you refuse to accept the package and you are not harassed any more. Ordering from an OP within the EU is quite secure as customs doesn't interfere any more.

I would tell them just nothing but "I did not order anything". Fact is that someone sent something to you.
Tell them you did not order. If they have no evidence for your ORDER you cannot be punished at all.
Those who sent it to you coud be punished then by law...but they are far away...;-)
Ther must be an evidence, but how coud they get it when the oder script is somewhere in anoteher country?`
So your untouchable by following those rules!
