Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)

I am confused and want some clarification as to the laws . Are foreign prescriptions for medications which require presciptions but are not controlled substances legal for US patient orders ( also meeting the 90 day supply US Customs requirement ) ?
US Customs could care less that you have a prescription for any med........No matter what it is. If they see the package, they inspect the package, they can use their powers to let it go thru or snatch it from you.
Prescription does not protect you at all.

Strictly speaking you are correct, however, I've seen cases reported where folks with U.S. Prescriptions have successfully embarassed FDA/Customs into releasing meds ordered by mail from Canada. One in particular was a retired guy, who was getting his Lipitor from Canada. So if you want to respond to a seizure letter with copy of your U.S. Rx and send a copy of all of materials to your congress-person, they may release meds to you.
A lot depends on who you are getting it from and how you are going about it. For example, a friend of mine gets all her scripts from Canada. That is a requirement of the insurance company she uses so needless to say all of her import/export paperwork is in order. She has never been hassled about any of her scripts scheduled or not. Now if you are talking about ordering online without any paperwork involved then technically customs could and may detain your meds even the nonscheduled ones.
