Question about seizure notices
      #82107 - 06/12/03 11:05 AM

Hey
I have read some post that have spoke of seizure notices, I am curious to know, if it is okay to ask, you can pm me if you need or want to. what happens when "that" happens? Does something happen to the person whom ordered? I was just wondering. I do appreciate it.

the last time I read about seizures, not much would really happen. Most of the time you get a letter stating they had been seized and that if you wanted you could come down and pick them up. DON'T DO THAT....there really is no GOOD ANSWER that will get your meds back, not a doctors note not anything. This info was a long time ago so I don't really have any current info.
I have read posts of people saying that they had heard of the authorities attempting to deliver the meds to you. (I don't remember the entire story though)
I would be interested to in some current information on this subject. I don't have any orders from overseas but some of the stories I have read were wild, always a good read!!

Although a seizure notice means you are not receiving your order, imo it is best to throw it away and forget about it.
Don't try to recover your order. A seizure notice is better than a personal visit...

Ditto on Lumbar's post. But do a search for "seizure" in "all forums" in the last 90 days and you will find a HUGE thread on this subject--pages and pages, even.

P.S.:

Since this was under Meds, Medical Conditions, etc. I--at first--thought you were talking about a medical "seizure" as in grand mal--should be under Laws and Regs.

Sorry
you are right this is not the right forum. I had read something about it and happened to be in that forum and just hit post. but thanks so much for the info. I will read up on it. I was wondering more if they like come and handcuff you and take you away, I thought if that was to happen, my poor children......who would cook and do laundry

If your IOP reships, be sure to fax them a copy before you eat it.

If you just get the custom's letter, you probably will not have anything to worry about. When I got mine I faxed a copy to the op and shreaded it. They did send a follow up letter, and that one got shreaded too.

Something along those lines crosses my mind every time I order IOP! And I've never even had a seizure notice yet! Nothing wrong with a little good healthy paranoia though, it's always good to err on the side of caution and not order IOP if it makes you nervous.

Do some digging around in the threads, here and on the VIP boards, and you will find posts about men with badges showing up to deliver medication orders from overseas pharmacies. Very rare but it does happen. If I can find some of them I will post a link here in this thread.

Yes, I did have some phentemine seized one time. Customs sent me a letter and told me I could appeal it if I wanted to. I did not appeal it, just lost a couple hundred dollars on that deal
