I know some folks have mentioned having a prescription insurance separate from their health insurance, and being able to use it to pay for meds from some of the USOPs.
I am looking into this because my health insurance only covers 1500 dollars per year, which isn't enough to cover even my regularly prescribed meds.
I am also going to be losing my current health insurance in 6 months.
I am wondering how much prescription insurance costs, how much it covers and what are the copays like?
I know there are quite a few of these outfits and I'm going to do a search, but I'd also like some personal reccommendations.

I do not have an answer for you, but I am interested in this topic as well. I am on state insurance, but they will not reimburse me for my online medications. I would like to find a prescription plan with which I can turn in my medication reciepts and be reimbursed for them.

I understand this thread is requesting personal experience, but I have an idea. Maybe try a google search for your State? Here in Texas,I see these advertisements on TV. I'll post if I can catch another one. They claim stuff like "$15 co-pays".
Sorry, not much help, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you.

this is one link I came up with dinking around on the computer. I know that Pfizer is trying to help seniors and people without prescription coverage. Don't know if this will help. I also have a friend that is going through the same situation and has 20 or more different meds to take each day. I will ask her if she has received any help from some of these programs. Here's the link:

Like I said I don't know how/if it works but it's a direction to go in. Good luck~~

unfortunately the companies that produce the meds I am on at the moment require you to have no insurance at all, regardless of prescription coverage. Yup, they're nazis.

I saw that Eckerd's has a plan of their own today. I haven't had a chance to check out the packet, so I really don't know what it involves, or saves. But, check it out, if you ever get maintenance meds.
