Dear Legitimate: thank you for the link and for coming to our rescue
We have nothing do do with any popups, or spam, that members may be receiving. We do not use popup windows of any kind, and we do not send spam.
When we send emails we only do it to members that joined our mailing list and we properly sign them as coming from drugbuyers.com. We also offer a link to unsubscribe.
We do not like to bother our members, or non members with spam of any king and we never give member emails to third parties.
There are many pharmacies, and several million businesses, sending spam to every email address they can find. There is a lot of abuse and very little that anyone can do. Some sites sell email addresses for almost nothing... some offer 50 million email addresses for $99...
The popups are another tragic story, many are served by Kazaa, Gator, and Hotmail, and we are not sure how they are served...
...but it is not us :-)

No I do not associate the popups with DB at all. They just recently started and were extremely annoying. I have been with DB for close to a year now. What is worse is that your security could be jeopardized. That was my main concern. These messages were from all types of businesses. Some were webcam messages from individuals. This really concerned me because I have children that are on the internet from time to time too.
I really thank everyone for all the help. I knew that there would be some computer savvy people here. The pop ups are gone and I feel much better.
i had the same problem and it is NOT related to msn or reg pop-up blockers.. My problem is i cant remember what i had to do to fix it, but i will sometime and if in time i will let you know. I took a picture of several just so i could show people that thought i was nutz or had munchazing problem.
Grab ad aware from tucows.com. It's freeware and rids your system of all the stuff that accumulates on ur system when browsing the internet. Most popups get served up by cookies or spyware that has been placed on ur computer when visiting sites. I suggest you set your security level and cookie permissions high and run ad aware. That should fix you up.
I don't have any problems with popups at all except those generaated by websites themselves. Those you will never be able to do anything about except to stop visiting them.
Might I also suggest grabbing a broadband connection if it's available in your area. It really does solve the problem of popups as you have more bandwidth and the popups don't go sucking up it all up as they do with a 56k connection.
ACK 56K...what is that lol Got on broadband 3 years ago and never looked back.
