E-Checks
      #65682 - 03/24/03 03:00 AM

Does anybody know of any OP (that is obviously one you all like) that accepts E-Checks? I do not have a credit card, and don't always like to use my debit card. Strange question I know, but I was just wondering. I think Interpharm.cc used to accept E-checks, but no longer does, which is a shame, because I loved that place!

Any help would be appreciated!

247-drugstore accepts e-checks. Most items are way over priced, but they do have some hard to find items.

Hey, why don't you just get a pre-paid credit card? They are easy and anonymous. Also I know that Perescrptions Key West does E-checks. Ask around to different OPs. I always use my pre-paid credit card for orders, you can get one evenif your credit is terrible like mine!

web page

Here is a very informative thread about pre-paid credit cards. By using this method, you are much less limited in what OPs you have the option of using. I have checked out most if not all the OPs discussed on this board, and the ones who accept e-checks are few and far between.

Thank you all for your responses! My credit is HORRID which is why I must use checks or a debit card, but even interpharm.cc which was my FAVORITE refuses to accept Visas for transactions through W/U unless you go to a W/U personally. I called and spoke online to a person with questions as to why, and the woman on the phone just kept repeating the tired old phrase "I'm sorry, we're not allowed to accept Visas for this particular person". The guy online was nicer and when I asked WHY he said it was due to "negative activity" on the interpharm's part. He first asked what Interpharm was, so I thought "Good God! What do I type? So the first thing that came to my mind, stupid or not, was "BOOKS"! I asked him why it should matter if I am the one taking the risk by using MY DEBIT CARD and trusting this person (I have NEVER had trouble with them before, their prices were great, and they were FAST) and he still gave that same phrase: "We're very sorry, but......we cannot accept CC orders for this merchant" blah blah blah. He did say they could not refuse cash at a W/U, so, I intend to go down to pay in person at a W/U. I'm not giving up a good thing like interpharm.cc! NO WAY!

Thanks again for all of your suggestions! I appreciate them.
