Could someone please tell me what "Best if Kept off the Board" is. Please PM me. I feel really lost sometimes because I have no clue what is being talked about.

Hi Keri,
DB automatically replaces "naughty" words with "Best if kept off the board." It's not a silly question, I didn't know it either at first.

The software the board uses automatically converts swear words or obscene language into "Best Kept Off Board" to keep DB a place where all feel welcome.

Great. I thought it was in reference to a medication that was litterally "best if kept off board"..

I wish I could remember right now some more of the DB "no-no" words. They mostly refer to anal sexuality, so nobody misses very much (except for the posters that seem to be forced to use them).
Thanks to the DB moderators that removed the majority of the most silly Iraq war contributions.

I too, feel pretty silly sometimes when I find out what stuff means. My 8 yr old nephew called me "dense" when I didn't know the BTW means by the way.

Try to post George Carlin's "words you can't say on the radio" and see what comes up. Afraid I am not brave enough to try it.

I think they use it also if you post a Dr. or OP's name on a subject that is not specifically direted to that OP or Doc.
