Interesting paper. While importing drugs carries certain medical risks as mentioned in the paper, the bottom line is that the various Boards of Pharmacy want to keep the business and profits for themselves and their members. Some maintenance drugs are sky high in the US and cheaper in Canada and Mexico. The elderly on fixed incomes (and others on limited incomes) ought to have the right to choose their provider and accept the risk. I, for one, do not need my Uncle telling me what is and is not good for me.

Very interesting..one thing is they are looking at the "foregin pharmices" not a good thing at all right now for those that use them...but it heeds a good warning to all..I had a friend that just died last week from ordering online steroids..so sad we didn't even know he had a problem..he was on a pain boad...so so sad ...boo
