Does anyone know what would happen if you ordered from 2 different US OP's within a weeks time and they BOTH used the same Pharmacy and you..."got caught double dipping".......would you get in any sort of legal trouble or just be "blacklisted" from both sites? Please advise a.s.a.p.
Yes, I was going to use one as a back-up....but I made a mistake and used 2 US OP's that use the same Pharmacy (I didn't know that!!!) ....so when I called the Pharmacy to see when order #2 would ship (I received order #1 last week), they caught on.....and I was informed that it was illegal, actually she said "very illegal" and that she would be calling both OP's to let them know. I then called the OP that I used 2nd and cancelled my order.
OP #1 then called ME and explained why that was not the right thing to do and said that they would be willing to keep me on as a patient providing that I know the rules now and only use them. He was actually very nice and I was surprised.......I am hoping that this will be the end of it, I learned a valuable lesson - research who uses what pharmacy!!! But it won't be happening again. If this is all that comes of it I am considering myself very, very lucky...and now I just have to wait and see if I do, indeed get a refund from OP #2 because I did call them and cancel the order. They said it would take about 48 hours to issue a "credit" and they would email me when that was done.
I also called my bank but they said to try to get a refund from the merchant first as it was quicker to go that route.
Live and learn........I am just praying that this is the end of it and there are no further reprocussions.
I don't think you have to worry about any legal repercussions, if thats what you're asking. OPs like to try to stay under the radar of law makers & law enforcement and by turning a patient/customer in they'd only be calling attention to themselves.
