Wow, good pick-up there Griffin. I agree, not a good thing at all. Investigations=bad news.

So far I have not had one problem with TDI but I guess things will change with the new year.

I received a PM from someone who shall remain nameless tonight and he/she said a tracking number was sent to him/her after ordering their refill from SWMG yesterday or today.

How can a pharmacy "issue" scripts without a valid script? Unfortunately, the hyperlink will not work at this moment, so I didn't have the opportunity to read it.
Folks, if an OP "goes down", what happens to the Patient Records? They have a LOT of info there. Scary, too.

The person who I was referring to above DID have their script go through TDI, no prob. AS the article is dated 11/23/02 and I've had two fills through TDI since this investigation came to light one can only hope we'll all continue to receive all meds owed to us through TDI and then keep a close eye on the situation. It may affect my decision as to who I use for my next consult...I do have some questions for SWMG and if I get any written response I'll share with you.

You have to go to www.tdipharmacy.com. After you log in, it will display your tracking # and any comments on your medication most recently requested..
TDI and EVMG do not send e-mails with tracking info.

The new news here is that they are moving forward with the investigation and I can almost assure you that TDI will shut down from this. Good thing I got my last refill from them in the mail today!

From the article at the top of this thread:
Quote:
Grejda and St. Peter could not be reached for comment yesterday. A man who answered the phone at TDI Pharmacy on Noble Avenue, Crafton, said St. Peter resigned two weeks ago and that Grejda was not available. The man would not say why St. Peter resigned.
That was back in November.
It looks to me the Feds are after their money and possessions and they might have to sell their business. Regardless, if TDI goes under today, there are many other pharmacies that would take their business. It wasn't a big issue when POL got closed down by the DEA, people still got their scripts. The docs sent new scripts to new pharmacies for them.
Yes, they might close down, but my OP is also keeping up with this and is also talking with other pharmacies in case they have to switch. As long as your OP is good, then you will be fine, just like EVMG's customers were when POL closed down.
