That is a special modification to the board.
It shows how much the profiles have been completed, but that is not all:
Members that do not complete their own profiles will not be able to see the profiles of other members that took the time to complete their own profiles.
It is a special modification to the star ratings and was written by JoshPet. JoshPet is a threads hacker, in the good sense, that will be helping us with the boards from now on...

I don't agree with the "you can't view others' profiles unless you give us a lot of personal info". I'm not giving out my email addy, my homepage, my ICQ, etc, to an open board on the net. Sorry, but this one doesn't sit too well with me!
I'm afraid this is just asking for more off topic posts such as "I wanted to PM you, but I can't see your profile".

It is not so bad
The email address would not show even if you were to put it in your profile
You only have to complete a few fields, not all of them... just 60% of the profile, the 60% you want, just complete the fiels you want...
We suggest you do not provide any info that may identify you. For Web address you can put your favorite Web

I filled in everything (except for picture - having grief with that at the moment), but if you see what I put in for answers, you'll realize I didn't reveal anything! I just wanted to have it as complete as possible without giving up info to strangers.
