I don't know if its just me, but the Notify Moderator button NEVER works for me.

What do you mean it doesn't work. Does it give you an error message. I could be wrong, but I think all you do is push the buton and the moderator is notified. I don't think there is anything else you have to do, like send a message with it.
But I'm just guessing.

I agree with Lovepink - about half the time the button doesn't work. A message comes up saying "cannot proceed." So then it's best to PM the moderator to tell DB about the inappropriate post.

Nevermind. I found it! I was looking all over for a button that says, "Notify Moderator".

It's at the bottom of each post where it says "Post Extras." There are three icons, and the "Notify Moderator" button is the third. It looks like a piece of paper to me.
