If a seizure notice comes, does it come by regular mail? Or does it come requiring a signature? I'm wondering because I got a piece from my postman today saying that he had something that needed to be signed for. Postman did not mark anything on the delivery notice that would give me an idea of what it is. I was out when he came by. The only package I'm expecting is an order I placed with a NZ OP company awhile back. Unless the item/package is an unexpected package from a family member because of the holidays.
If it is a seizure notice, can I refuse to sign it? Sorry if I'm asking to many questions. I'm still new at overseas OP's.
I highly doubt its a seizure notice...I'd be more guessing its your OP order or, as you said, a Christmas gift. You're not legally required to sign for anything if you refuse the letter/pkg. I used to refuse certified letters from my ex all the time, the postal lady never even batted her eyes. Do let us know.
Seizure notices come right to your home. If the OP refunds or reships if you supply the letter, then fax it to them.
In the end just throw the letter away. Signing is an admission of importing meds. I have received about9 or 10 over the years, always thrown them away.
