I ordered a consut with AAAmeds, never got it and have been waiting for a refund since 3-31-04. They keep saying they've sent it but I'm still waiting.

These folks have been angels to me. They are thorough, give you the typical phone consultation, ask your advice about what works best for your particular problem, and write you what you need (from their limited but respectable inventory).
They used St. Peters, and when they were in the middle of all sorts of backorders, people demanding refills, etc they managed to keep in contact with us and let everyone know that they were honoring things the best they could.
They did, and they came through. Now they use Universal, I believe.
In any case, major THANK YOUS to the respectable folks at aaameds - every OP should take Customer Service lessons from you. There are so few good ones, and SO many bad...

My experience with aaameds has been a nightmare .
After faxing medical records, I ordered a consult which was to take place on 5/19 (yes, MAY 19th). They had no problem billing my credit card immediately (for $120). The doctor NEVER called. I sent them a couple of e-mails letting them know. They did not reply until the end of the business day.
Since nobody called, I was able to get in with apainsolution THAT SAME DAY. (And btw, they were absolutely terrific. I can't speak highly enough of them [see my post under their name in this forum]).
Anyway, the doctor (no, make that P.A.) from aaameds decided to call me the next day. Guess he was on his own schedule and to he** with the patients. I told him since he did not call when promised the day before, that I went with another o.p. He said ok, no problem-I asked if I could get a refund-he said yes, no problem.
I contacted aaameds via e-mail and they said I would be mailed a refund.
A month and a half later, i still have not received my refund. They have lied to me, they have ignored my e-mails for up to four-five days at a time, etc. This is the most CROOKED outfit I have ever run across.
Today (after no reply to my e-mail for four days) they sent another lie, but this one tops all. It said:
"I am going to put a trace on the check and make sure that it has not been cashed. The refund check has been mailed. Once I find that it has not been cashed I will make sure that a stop payment is put on it and submit another refund for you."
Well isn't that the oldest trick in the book?!!!!
People, STAY AWAY from these scammers!!!!!!!!  You WILL be burned...

Well, close to TWO MONTHS after I requested my refund for the consultation that never took place, I received my refund.
My "refund" was for $95, NOT the $120 I paid. To refresh your memory, I received my refund after countless e-mails to them. Many of the e-mails went unanswered, but most of their responses were lies and excuses.
I promptly wrote them back stating that I only received $95, not $120. Their reply was:
"You agreed to the terms and conditions. There is a $25 admin charge for any consultation that is booked. That is why you received a $95 refund.

People, stay away, FAR AWAY, from these lying crooks !!

This place IS a nitemare!!!  Sure,my initial consult went smoothly,and then,when it came time for my re-fills,they were"backlogged". I didnt get my meds for a MONTH-and then,they were shipped to the WRONG adress,even tho I notified them of my adress b4.
NOW,my refill has been "ready" for 3 weeks now,and they are playing games w/me By the time they get back to me,they are "done" shipping for the day". THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE LAST WEEK!
This is my last refill w/them,and the LAST time I am doing business w/these people-they have NO customer service,NO way to refill on their website,dont answer emails till it's too late,and they NEVER answer the phone!!
my advice,stay FAR away from these people!

Wow! Thanks for the info. I am sorry you guys have had to go through this nonsense. You may want to try MWW within the next week. They tell me they are getting a doctor with a better bedside manner.  Their prices, refills, etc. are not the best but I always get my meds from them.

Same story with me. Not with AAA, but with 1stMeds, when they, Meds123, and AAA all shared the same phone, fax, CS, and website. I had used a CC to pay, and when I couldn't get through after 2 straight days of calling (long distance, mind you), I gave up and signed up with NWW and had my meds in under 48 hours.
They gave me the run around about refunding, as well. Claiming it took "up to a week" for a refund to come through on a credit card. That's funny, 'cause when I return something at a store, they manage to pull off a refund on my credit card right then while I'm standing there. I let them know immediately I was going to be disputing the charges, which I did. And they were not left with any opportunity to claim som e bogus forfeiture charge from me.
Don't ever be gunshy, especially with these guys. They ARE crooks. Don't step within 500 miles of these OPs if you can't pay in plastic, and initiate a chargeback the moment they start acting like you aren't doing them a favor.

I just want to let my fellow members know that yes I have on occasion had problems with AAA consults and deliveries. However its less the 20 % and they have always made it up to me. I've been with OP's that are much worse. The passed 3 months have been hard on all of us pharmacies getting closed and OP's having to find new ones. This has caused many problems for many DB members, OP's and their hard working staff.
Besides Samantha @ AAA is one of the best customer service people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She is ultra responsive and works extremely hard to get the job done.

I too have been having major issues with these guys.
My first meeting went fine. Paid with CC.
When it was time for refill, I emailed. They sent a message stating my order was on its way. I thought that was too easy. It was. When It arrived it was COD. I had no cash and did not request a COD. I had to refuse it. I am still trying to get the same refill 2 weeks later. I swear the agents there are braindead. I could fill up a book of the lame responses from these guys. Needless to say, pick another OP.

word to the wise...they must have some sort of software that shares info with other op's. if you happen to be double dipping they will see it. if that's the case they won't send you meds, but they'll take your $120 and ignore all correspondence from you. just a word to the wise.

Yeah, I'd want to add that after more use, they've made a few mistakes - once even in my favor. I wrote them explaining the mistake (I had a bottle of 90 10mg Val show up on my doorstep, my final refill - without a bill or charge or even a request for the refill).
I wrote them to explain the error and offer to pay and started getting a run-around. I was trying to be a nice guy, being as they are one of the few left that I have a history with and that I trust, but the experience left my confidence shaken.
Then (now) they are having trouble understanding that when you are prescribed two different things and they are supposedly shipped out in the same order, you pay the COD fee for BOTH meds, open the envelope and find only one of the two that you paid for, that something is wrong. They want to reschedule another consultation so I can get the med I didn't get in the envelope, even though their website says that I still have two refills of it waiting (they didn't send the first, so there should be three waiting).
I like these people and I think they are honest, but I don't know how or why they drop the ball like this occasionally. I think that it is just a small shop, and they do the best that they can.
In any case, I can honestly say that they have never before (as far as I can tell) ripped me off in any way, the doctor has always been polite and reasonable, and that as far as OPs go, they are top-knotch, IMHO. That isn't saying they are perfect, but *as far as OPs go*. I have limited experience, but I have shopped around, and I can say this with at least a little bit of experience under my belt.
Are they really associated with 1stMeds and Meds123? I never even noticed that before. I guess the gray OP market is an incestous bunch.

Again, just for the sake of full disclosure, a quick DNS check shows that AAAMEDS.COM are using the same identical email server as Norco - mail.norcoworldwide.com.
That doesn't necessarily prove anything, but it might be useful knowledge to someone who likes to keep track of who they do business with.
Major thank-yous to toe for calling attention to this fact (which is significant to me for personal reasons, and probably to others here as well).

My friend has used AAA for some time. He had a consult on Friday 11/19/2004, was assured that his meds would be at his home on Sat. Well nothing came. All day today nothing. So he called them. After a VERY long wait on hold the CS come on the line and told him they would NOT be sending out any meds, would not service him any longer and he would get a refund. His mother has a similar problem in July with them. She JUST got the refund.
What is troubling is that they gave NO EXPLAINATION. Nothing.
I am willing to bet he won't get a full refund either. I will keep you all posted. I would not recommend these guys at all.
Based on the feed back here - the service you might get is hit or miss. You just cannot be sure.

I have a different recollection of that fiasco. They had the phones off the hook. My refill was over a month late. When I finally got through they SWORE that the RX would come the next day. Absolutely left everyone hanging, except a few apparently. I left them then. Have they vastly improved?

hello everyone
i was wondering if someone could give me some advice please! I have been with AAAmeds for years and have a had a few problems in the past but nothing like this. I was due for a new consult and have already payed for it. after not hearing from them for a week i started sending emails. finally last friday they send an email back saying i needed to send in new medical records. so i faxed them yesterday. i got an email back today saying they were not valid medical records that they needed the doctors info stamped at the top of the pages. anyways i dont want to go with them anymore, now i want my money back!! they said i would have to call them to get my money back. well guess what....the phone is ALWAYS busy!!! any suggestions as to what i should do would be great. in addition.....the big question!! who do i go with now?? if anyone call tell me if there are still some record op's out there that do the consult and let you fax your records in before the first refill??? i would appreciate the info if anyone call help.

I've used these guys a few times. My last time wasn't such a great experience. When talking to the Doctor he acted like I was lying to him about faxing my medical records to them. I faxed them the previous day as requested. He was like, "when did you fax your records?" I told him and he was like, "Are you sure?" That went on for a couple seconds. Then he prescribed 60 Norco 10/325 with NO REFILLS !!
I won't be using these sharks any longer.

Just used them for the first time--the telephone call came this morning at 10, I ordered a consult yesterday at 1 pm. It didn't sound like the doctor or whoever was on the phone really had a second to speak to me--it was very rushed. What do you want? How do you want it? That sort of thing. Not that I'm complaining yet, although I was sort of confused by how fast the whole thing went. Wasn't sure if he even heard what I wanted. Anyway, got my receipt and the price is pretty good. Hopefully, medication will arrive after the weekend without any problems.

I used to use AAAMeds, and can't believe they would allow no records. I had to fax copious records which I had to have in front of me for consults. Yeah the consults were rushed but I was grilled about records and they had to be within a certain time frame. I left them when their pharmacy got shut down and they took ages to refill prescriptions. I must have been with them two years.

I have been using AAA for maybe 3 years now. Overall I would have to say they have done an excellent job. There have been a couple of instances in the past where meds were late, one time 30 days late, but that was some problem with their pharmacy. The biggest complaint is they don't allow 120 10/325's. I had one consult where the doc did give me 120 with 2 refills, but then cs called or e-mailed and said that AAA did not do that quantity. Anyways, was reading the other posts and thought I should put in my experience.

I previously used AAA before they stopped serving Kentucky. Good to use them again, usually provide good quick service.
