i think you would find a llot to get OTC there..only judging from the region, but i have not tried...best way to find out is to just go in and ask..

Isn't opium legal there???I thought opium was sold right off of outside markets ....or maybe that is Thailand....I've been told that the opium in thailand is very strong....there was this one farmer there who smoked opium nearly 100 times a day....now theres on hell of an addiction...

I've been to Thailand and never seen opium sold in the outside markets. Of course, it can be found on the streets and as far as I know it is illegal. Illicit drugs in Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore are taken very seriously. Whacks with bamboo sticks and life sentences are handed out like candy in these countries. Also, drug trafficking will get you a death sentence.

Anyway, I will inform on the pharmacies in Malaysia in a couple of days. I am currently staying about 4 hours away from KL.

Found a few farmisi (Malay for pharmacy). They are not as plentiful as they are in Thailand, but there are a couple of good ones. Just about anything you want can be had for a few ringits (pennies to us). Benzo heaven.

Off to Bangkok tomorrow!
