Possession?
      #25634 - 08/16/02 03:10 AM

I had back sx on 7/2 and am still in considerable pain. I would like to order tylenol 3s online because tylenol plain is just not cutting it. I guess I want to take charge of my recovery at this point also. The thing that terrifies me is not ordering and having these mailed, but of course that it is still illegal in the US to possess without a rx. Has anyone out there been hassled after they received their order? Am I breaking the law if I order these without an rx? This board is so helpful because you can ask real people. Thank you for the board. Thank you all.

Although I think it is unlikely that G-men will come looking for you, it is of course illegal to possess prescription medication without a prescription. The thing to do is either call your doctor and tell him/her you are in considerable pain and need more medication. (Afterall, if I read correctly, you had surgery!) OR schedule a consult with an OP and then you'll HAVE the script that makes you legal. Reading the threads will help you decide who to go with. Hope this helps.

DUHHH ??????!!!!! why heck yes your breaking the law if you either posses or take any kind of prescribed medication
(weather it is a narcotic analgesic or not) without a legal US doctor ordered prescription.

Make yourself a doctors consult (just pick an OP out after reading this board) and be legal. It's not hard, nor is it difficult, nor is it really any more expensive than making a doctors office visit in person.

No one on this board can tell you for certain which doctor will or will not offer to write you any pain med.

But, if you will but read all the info offered by the different partiscipants on this board, you will be more able to make a more informed decision on your own concerning the OP you would most prefer to contact for your doctors consult.

It will of course take a few days to get the meds to you, if of course any prespective doctor does ok you some pain meds, but @ least you will be doing it legally instead of illegally.

There are a lot of threads you could read Try

Pharm88
medscorp
accessmeds
pharmasus
pharma24

I'm in a good mood today. So just click the names it will take you to each site. But please read the thread on each of these Online places before you order from them. In the menu bar is a search button. Type in their names and you will find info on each one
