My husband picked up my refill of hydro 10/325 #90, and they charged him 70.00. I think because they thought I had insurance, usually they only cost me 28.95. I called them and they paid him back 40 something dollars. So why in the hell are they sooo much OP??????? It may be a dumb question, but an honest one.

So, I'm not the only person who was given a prescription for pain meds, then no more, without warning. I couldn't believe it. My husband suggested that I call the doctor's office and I did, in tears, saying that I had no idea that my pain meds would be stopped and that I was starting to go through withdrawal. I did get a small prescription which allowed me to taper off gradually. BUT, was in great pain; doctor's office said I didn't need a narcotic any more. Hello? Aspirin/Advil etc is supposed to kill the pain? NO!
So, I surfed the net, found this site, and as I mentioned in another thread, got support/help/encouragement from Jeremiah (thank you again, friend); went with YOD/Kathy. Super results from them. I'm not totally pain free, but I've got meds and they sure do help!
This site (and VIP) is absolutely fantastic; I had no idea so many people are in incredible pain and not getting the help they need from their docs.
Thank you DB!

Hey Brandy!
I'm glad I could help.
Yes,there is major under-treatment of pain in this country.
Like you, I found DB,someone helped me with my first online purchase and I've been here ever since.
Sure is expensive. I can only pray circumstances will change, but not holding my breath. In the meantime,I'm sure grateful for DB and the OP's.
Good to see you posting,
J.

fuzzy~the quick and simple answer is because they can. the demand is there, and people will, as we have proven, pay that much, so they can charge it. it is an unfortunate reality that we must deal with.

Better yet, they should have THEIR leg broken, and be given plain Tylenol while hospitalized a week.An eye for an eye,a tooth for a tooth,a Tylenol for a Jackass.
