Feb 24th Rolling Stone has an article about people crossing over into Mexico to get meds and said the meds some of them were getting were not what they thought they were or only a fraction of the real med ingredient (weak meds)
It was very interesting. If I knew how to work my scanner, I would scan it in for everyone to read. But I barely know how to turn this freakin Laptop on.

Yeah, I read that article. I sat down and had no intention of reading any articles, but I just wanted to skim through the pages. As soon as I saw the article, I started reading and didn't stop until I finished. It was interesting...and certainly maintains much of what you can find here about crossing into Mexico pharms

I have that issue also. Dmg, you're right about it confirming stories that have been told. I thought it was funny how the doctor / pharmacist moved down the counter to play the different "roles".

I have been down there and I think the story about the guy moving down the aisle was completely made up. Most of the people filling the scripts are doctors (veteranary), they don't usually play games like that. The legal stuff theymention is pretty accurate but I think most of the story is BS. You are'nt going to get oxy's legally down there.

Darth, did you read the article? I may have mis-read something, but the reporter described the person filling the scripts as a doctor.

I have a subscription to Rolling Stone and read that article. At one point he says that he took his remaining Oxys then went out to serch for more drugs. I think most of it was bull$hit. We all know how difficult/impossable it is to get Oxys in Mexico. The people he spoke to were down there for birth control and other non-controlled stuff. One more propiganda spewing reporter. Whadda load of bunk.

I'm sorry I haven't read this article, still haven't heard the main points, but I assume from the thread that it states oxy is readily available. Again, having several trips down that way recently, no one should be getting their hopes up. If U ask for hyd/oxy they usually try to get U neo-percs or some other non-narcs. Val/by roche is about it. Maybe if you go way inland or know someone things change, but I've been told by their pharmacists on several different occasions/pharmacies- that the govt put an end to easy rx.s bout 6 yrs ago.NO barbs/amphet./mq/etc. Sounds like a way to sell mags. (what a long strange trip, my arse) Just my exp. Good luck -j
