hi mom,
finally some sun here in california, huh?
if the people who bid on this type of e-bay auction really do expect to get an empty bottle, then i have enough dexedrine empties to pay my rent for the rest of the year!
if this generic amber bottle does get bids i wonder how much someone would pay for the real manufacturers bottles that come from the company. i have a few of them too, from shire and mallinckrodt. all for dexedrine. i could try for double the amount of this generic lortab bottle as sch.II empties are sure to be rarer.
maybe i'll give it a try. if this proves to be lucrative then i'll have kill the bf for tossing out a bunch of my old empty bottles. or better yet, i should just charge him for them.
i'm going to keep my eye on this one.

The DEA isn't the agency that is responsible for scheduling drugs. So they aren't the inital culprit in this tangled web of the prescription drug world. Does anyone on this board know of one person that has been detained/prosecuted by the DEA for obtaining rx's online? Not the operators of the fly by night NROP's, but actual patients that have utilized their services for whatever reason legit pain/anxiety etc. or not. I've never read about it. If anyone knows of an actual incident where a person/patient has been targeted please post about it.

yes, the bin price is $50.00 and it is a one-day listing. i was thinking that if he actually intended to send any amount of generic lortabs (10/500) along with the "empty" bottle that the bin price would be substantially higher than $50.00. plus, someone would have jumped on it by now. but so far, not one single bid yet. i'm still interested to see what happens....

I've thought about it and the only reason I could see someone would want the bottle is to try and use the refills left on the bottle. I noticed the bottle had 2 refills left on it. Some idiot somewhere figures he can blindly walk up to a pharmacy and hand them the bottle and ask them for a refill. Besides, what else would someone do with an empty bottle?

The Tshirt on eBay is just a tshirt. I can sell you one if you want. Back in October I sold about 50 empty bottles from Hydro in $25-$49 range in a week. Still have no idea why people were buying 'em. I typed vicodin in Google once and saw the add "Buy Vicodin on eBay". When I saw 20-30 listings on eBay with empty bottles for $30-$250 each I got very confused, because of huge number of bids and watchers.
I had one empty bottle with label. So I went to nearest Bartel drug store, bought a dozen of amber vials, then got paper for labels in office max, made some nice looking labels.
Someone even made a topic on ebay's forum about my empty bottles -they could not believe I'd ship an empty bottle to them. They believe it now for sure.
Too bad I can't sell this stuff anymore, still have 50 new bottles and bunch of labels.
So, do not buy empty bottles with label thinking it will
be pills in there - that would be a crime.
Anyhow don't buy t-shirt if you need pills.

how can we, some other self-appointed militant reported it and got it removed? i am sorry to say this, but do you guys sit on this site all day and just monitor it? i mean it is always the same people doing the name calling, and we all have needs and are using this site to find pharmacies for rxs.
most of you will order from an online pharm and take the risk that it is legit, but when someone is trying to make a buck somewhere else, you insult them.
be more concerned with your own actions, and do not judge others. nobody on this forum has a right to judge another human. rest assured, we all need self improvement.

that was a very thoughtful post and beneficial to this thread as well. i am very sorry to hear about your friend. yes, these crooks think they can be clever, and they sometimes are! they try to make the rest of us who truly care about each other seem like evil, selfish people. most of us just don't like to see anyone get hurt, ANYone, whether we know them or not.
how to get this "person" (and i use the term loosley) banned? just like that. **poof** he's gone! and a great big "thank you" to the mods for that one!

OK, I just now saw the ebay thing for that guy that sold advertising space on his forehead. That has got to be one of the most stupid ideas i have ever heard of. And wtf, he got 30k for just a henna tattoo. This is incredible!! It seems like he has been doing it ever since too, at 30k a pop. ONLY IN AMERICA!

Maybe some scammer would buy an empty bottle put some generic tylenol or something in it and sell it to some high school kid. The label would make the sham more believable. 50 bucks for the empty, 2 bucks worth of b/s pills and voila! I've heard of people paying up to 10 bucks a piece for one stinkin' Vicodin. It takes money to make money.lol

Bobby46 (his name is Robert Raborg Jr.) was selling empty hydro bottles on ebay. I know someone who bought from him and spent 300.00 for an empty bottle---after he told him(my friend) the bottle would be full of meds.
He also turned very psycho after the sale.
I will report him to the admin. Anyone else, look out. He has Bobby in his ebay name, but I can't remember what it is.

people are buying them under the impression that they are going to get the meds with the bottle. It goes a little something like this:
scammer lists bottle on ebay.
goes on a site like this, befriends pain sufferes, etc
makes a matter of fact post saying "well, I bought a bottle from this guy, and guess what, it was more than just the bottle:)" when someone else brings up the subject (they wont start the thread themselves... that would be too obvious)
when people start PMing him/her for more details, scammer seemingly reluctantly tips them off to the auction, or offers to "trade" sources (making the info that much more credible).
Scammer can get away with this over and over because new people join these boards everyday and DONT look beyond the first dozen posts (if they did, we wouldnt have a new post every day saying "can anyone reccomend an OP that doesnt require records" like it is a new question).

out of curiousity i bought a bottle about a week ago, the description had said safety seal intact so...i thought it would be a fun test, so to speak, mainly just boredom/curiousity. needless to say the bottle arrived empty without a safety seal. i was just doing it for a lark, wouldn't have trusted the contents anyway, but just so y'all know...oh, and the person was banned from ebay for this and my cc is refunding, etc

You actually purchased a bottle on ebay as a test using your credit card? How did you explain wanting a refund to paypal/ebay? Did you tell them you thought you were getting hydrocodone but got empty bottles? If its a felony selling it on ebay, isn't purchasing it on ebay a felony as well? actually it was xanax, and the whole deal was that the safety seal wasn't intact, lol, that is the basis for the refund and sale. if i don't get my money back, oh, well...
it was just an experiment, but i never would have trusted any meds that came like that anyway, who would in this day and age?

For the poster knocking people that use NROPs. I have 2 destroyed discs, and 1 herniated. I have broken 4 vertabea at once, and a fifth on a seperate occasion. I have full records, and when I had insurance, was receiving all my needed meds from my PCP. When I lost my insurance, I began using ROP's. But one time, when I was moving, my records were all packed up, and I could not access them. Another time, I was short on funds, and couldn't afford the consult fee plus my regular meds fees. So - on both those 2 occasions, I used NROPs. They served my immediate needs well. Personally, I choose not to use them regularly, as I prefer the service, cost, and level of care I receive from NWW, my ROP of choice. But NROPs do serve a purpose, and to imply that that purpose is to cater to drug dealers or abusers is rather closed minded and childish. Many people do not have records at all, for whatever reason. This does not make their pain any less than mine. Predjudice, the act of pre-judging before the facts are known, is equivalent to ignorance, or more precisely, stupidity. I am not trying to be mean spirited, but to call NROP users drugdealers is just closed-minded.
