Ordering from Domestic Pharms (Questionare related)
      #234986 - 03/05/05 01:42 AM

I would like to order medication from this Domestic Pharmacy and by viewing the questionare i noticed that it says enter Physicians Name. What happems if I put N/A (not available)? Will my order still be shipped or they will just reject it?

Or, what if I dont have a prescription for the medication?

And third, by filling out the questionare, will that be considered to them as being "prescribed" for it? But I dod not see anything about faxing a medical record to them.

Andy,
First of all, I am assuming you are referring to a NROP (no records), therefore they do not require records sent, just an online questionnaire filled out.

One thing that concerns me about your first post was the info. asked about PCP and prescription.....
There are many sites that are basically NOT actually NROPs, they mention in fine print that they do contact your PCP and you MUST have a valid Rx from him OR they call PCP for authorization.

Needless to say, many people have been "fooled" by these sites, and, no, they NEVER get anything but a bottle of cheap vitamins and a monthly charge to their "newsletter" or whatever.

So, just wondering if the site you are referring to is one of these that advertise great things, but are only after your money.........

Read the board, you'll find other alternatives.

Ok, I guess then it was just a typo....sorry.

Now, since my order is processed, when should I get the Money Order? How will I know that my order will ship or be rejected?

well u should get a tracking number but then it may sit in BIR for a bit-i wouldnt get the MO until its actually in transit-if u let us know which NROP u are using I am sure people here can help u a lot more by letting u know what to expect-some ship faster then others, some dont ship at all-its rolling the dice

I don't know what happens when you put N/A under the physician's name, but I've simply put down "Walk-in Clinic" or "Emergency Room" before and had no trouble receiving my medication from NROPs. Wish i'd seen this sooner to throw that idea to you. Hope all goes well.

Edited to add: As far as the money order goes, if you know what the total is you can go ahead and purchase it, but leave the "Pay to" area blank. That way if your order doesn't show up, you can go back to where you purchased the money order and write it to them to get your money back (make SURE you get a receipt when you BUY the money order)or you can make it out to yourself and deposit it in your bank account. Hope that helps.

a good way is to put a name in and then a totally useless phone number like 111-555-1212. they are not going to spend time looking up a number

What if I am not home and I miss UPS? Then would UPS would re-deliver it or send the meds back to Extrememed?

And is this good idea or not?
Give the Money Order to my building manager so she could be on the lookout for the UPS guy and tell her to give the Money Order to the UPS guy?

Incase Im not home or something...

Yikes Andy......Relax.....All will be well. If you miss a delivery, they will make 3 attempts before sending it back. If you call to have it held at the hub, they will hold it for 5 business days before sending it back. If you trust your building mngr. then go for it. I have heard of drivers not giving the package to someone other than the addressee but perhaps if you leave a note with the bldg. mngr. the driver will release it.
As for listing your physician's name, I always put my childhood family doctor's name and his old phone #. He's dead now so I have'nt had any trouble.

Hope this helps....

Is this the same Andy who created a 20-page thread about getting a LL from customs over an international order?
