NWW IS NOT RELEASING YOUR PRIVATE INFO...WHAT WOULD WE HAVE TO GAIN BY THAT???..
p
i'm not accusing NWW of anything, just trying to answer your question. there are tons of companies that make a nice profit by selling customer information. NWW would have pure profit to gain, that's what.
again, i'm not accusing...just answering your question.

i am really nervous. i was having a very difficult time getting my refills with 1stmeds for an array of reasons they kept coming up with (btw ive been using them over a year which was why i really didnt understand all this now) i finally sent all the correct info in the correct shading front and back etc etc and i get a message saying my acount was overdrawn. during this tiem i was researching several alternatives and received a call from this meds by phone which i assumed was legit b/c i was researching. now they have over 300 of mine a website under construction and i am reading all this input. any suggestons as it appears the damage may have already been done?

I too kept receiving these phone calls. The first time I asked nicely for them to remove my name from their list as I had never ordered anything from them. The second time I was not as nice. The third time a man who could barely speaka the engleesh called and I lit into him. That has been about a month ago and no calls yet. I told him that I had his # on my caller ID and that if I received one more call I would contact the BBB. Must of worked, only the same ol' people calling daily now.

It seems to me that Nww patty is being truthful when she says she does not sell the list. If you are in this business why would you give away your customers to your competion. I believe she guards her lists not sells them.

You obviously havent been paying attention to recent topics on here. The feds do have an anonymous tip system to help catch sketchy online script vendors... its been discussed ad naseum on this site.
The point is that NO website is anonymous, they HAVE to know your computer's location in order to send you the page you asked for. If I were the 'noid type I would say ESPECIALLY the DEA's anonymous site isn't.
I am well aware of what has been discussed here, both "ad naseum" (nice try) and otherwise.
Of course you can surf through a proxy like www.anonymizer.com
There are others of course but it works pretty well..

Gandalf

or re-direct your browser to one of the tens of thousands of free anonymous proxies on the net. Any while we are at it, an "non-secure" sight simply means your login data etc is passing over the wire unencrypted... someone would need to gain physical access to your network segment, or the websites, run packet traces, reassemble the datagrams to extract the useful information... it would be quite an undertaking, and my opinion is that if someone is smart enough to do that, and is willing to risk trying, they've got you already.

Yes, I've gotten the "your Darvocet refill is ready" or whatever call, several of them. I tell them to [censored] off and don't call back, have a nice day.

Hey All, I've been reading thru this thread and others, and the 2 pharmacys that are coming up as possible culprits,IMO, are Ken's and Buymeds. I used Buymeds and have had many international calls soliciting meds. I would bet its Buymeds. If I see Jamaica calling on my ID, I just don't answer or if it's a strange area code or number I don't answer. I've even had some calls from Florida and I don't answer. My advice don't answer and eventually they just give up. I haven't had any of these calls for oh maybe 3 weeks, I guess it worked. sheshe

I think I would look at who I had been getting my meds from first because THEY are the ones that have sold your number. Thats scary. But sometimes my cc has been kicked back because I've used my fax number rather than my home phone. Some cc systems verify that it is you by the phone number you give them.

I have gotten too many of these phone calls, under unknown name and number. Nothing against races, but they always have an accent, hard to understand for me.
My own experience tells me that when an OP goes under, they start the phone calling. This is just my opinion! I think it is their way of keeping you as a customer until their new website goes up. I usually get they are Global Pharmacies a lot when they call, but also get mumbo jumbo too. I don't remember ever being billed by Global pharmacies from anywhere I have ordered.
MAYBE IT'S THE FED'S ON THE LINE!! EEEGADS!!! GULP!! GASP!! LOL

I got one last week. I let the guy talk and talk about how I need to re-fill my Hydro. I asked them who they were and he told me. That's when I dropped 'the bomb' on his a_ _.
I let him know that I just filled 1 Week ago.
I NEVER seen anyone try to get off the phone so quick but I kept talking and asking questions.

I'm starting to get a lot of these calls, I have call ID and wait till after biz hours, and then call back (after anonomizing my call (star 67) and found that cheapmeds.com and a few others are trying to contact me (who I've never ordered from). So someone (not surprisingly -is selling our #s) I never answer the phone if it's an 800 style #. Nor would I order from anyone calling me out of the blue. Could be le-from a fake outfit, or just a scammer. Be careful, J

I believe that cheapmeds is somehow affiliated with sendmymeds/checkmypills.com . The emails and phone calls start a week or two after sendmymeds went dark, replaced by checkmypills (prices doubled).

My wife got a call today from someone like Pharmastock, or something. At first she didn't know what was going on, but she caught on pretty quick and told the caller: "Stocks? What kind of stocks?? We don't have any pharmaceutical stocks, I don't think... Let me check my portfolio, hold on a minute..." The woman kept trying to cut in, but my wife dragged her along for another minute or two, until the woman, exasperated, finally hung up.
I love my wife.
