Hi,
If it is supposed to be delivered on monday, they probably will not let you pick up. I had an order I placed on friday overnight for monday delivery, I checked on saturday and it was at my local hub, I called and fedex and they told me they do not "uncontainer" Monday's packages until Sunday night, but I would call and ask anyway, because you never know what these shippers will do.
Good Luck.

If you paid for Saturday Delivery, they will probably let you pick it up but if you paid for Overnight, they most likely will not.
You should call them before you go and ask so you don't waste your time.

If your package was sent Friday and has made it to the local hub on Saturday, there's a good chance that FedEx will pull it and allow you to pick it up. Just call CS and ask. I've done this a few times for non-meds stuff and they've come through all but once. And if you tell them it's medication they'll give it some extra attention. Sometimes though they'll tell ya stuff is still "containerized" and they can't touch it until Monday when they have more workers available. In any case it's worth a shot. Good Luck!

This is a pointless question...which you don't have to answer, of course...but I'm curious as to your reply.
Why did you have it shipped for Saturday delivery? Maybe you weren't aware they didn't deliver on Saturday at the time you placed your order? Or did you just do it in the hope your package would arrive Saturday and you could pick it up?
Check the tracking around 9 in the morning and see what the current status is. If it says something like "at FedEx sort facility", it won't be available for you to pick up. But if it says "arrived at FedEx destination location", you'll be able to get it.
They're very good at accommodating their customers. Also, you PAID for Saturday delivery.
I wouldn't call their 800 number. If you have the number for your local station, call them. But if it was me, I wouldn't call at all. IF your package is at the destination location and IF it's not a terribly long drive for you, just go there.
I hope it works out for you. Let us know...

Do NOT call the 800 FedEx number. Simply drive to your hub and ask if you can have your package. I don't use OP's because I'm fortunate enough to have a caring local doc; however, I have picked up packages at FedEx (non-meds) due for Monday delivery. If you call the 800 number, you will be told no; however, the odds are good if you simply show up. After all, you are saving THEM time/money by not having to deliver to you on Monday.
Also, note that in an instant they can find any package they are looking for "down to the 1/4 inch" per the hub management. So I don't fall for the "Monday containerized" stories people are told. Packages are not stacked in a container in the corner of the warehouse.
Imago had a good question, though. Why would you have ordered Saturday if there's no delivery? Know that 99% of the time if you order Friday, your package is sitting at your hub on Saturday, as those flights are moving Friday night.
I cannot speak for medications, but do know that you can pick up paks on Saturday. It's about CS at the counter, and whether or not they want to help you. It's that simple.
Edited to add: They will never give local hub phone numbers to you.

Why are so many of you being so rude to this girl? You don't know her situation, don't be so condicending.
BTW They don't give out the hub phone number but i've had them call me and it showed up on my caller id...they can also patch you through..just act like you are lost and need directions and they will get someone from the hub on the line....BUT..I do agree that calling 800 is a bad idea, when you track your package on the web, most of the time you get more info than the 800 people do.
You might have a problem if the package is addressed to your home because they will probably sort it somewhere, however, if i were you, i would go in there whenever it opens, explain the situation and be EXTREMELY nice. I bet you'll catch it before it gets sorted anywhere.

No need to apologize, deprest. I'm glad you said something. If you thought I was rude, then it's possible looseliz might feel the same way.
Looseliz, being rude or mean-spirited was the last thing on my mind. But if I was, I will happily apologize.
BTW, were you able to get your package?
