I have one page of records. Looking to switch OPs in the next few weeks. I have one page of records, because I am only 34 & have been to the doctor a few times in the past year.
The one page has
1) Records of my two appointments (listed as progress notes)
2) A listing of my problem (Anxiety, Panic Disorder)
3) My vitals from the appointments
4) These are from 4/27/04 at the latest
5) It shows that I was prescribed Xanax in the past with no problems
Any OP or good NROP that you would recommend that is quick & reliable. Thanks. Refills would be good.

YPM, EPHY, YOD, ERMeds, - they are all fantastic - as you can simply read here at the site - can't hurt to fax the records in and check them out. Man, I would go with either ERmeds or YPM. Both can be dealt with in confidence

Why don't you choose an OP and fax your records? Then you will find out if they are acceptable. The members here are not going to be able to tell you if your records are acceptable or not, only the OPs can do that. I have seen many OP reps on this site say that you should go ahead and fax your records, and then they will tell you if they will accept them. It can't hurt to try.

Time is right, Lauren ... no one here can give you a definitive answer to your question. I understand your wanting to know for sure if your records will work ahead of time .... it's a tense/nervous situation waiting to find out if someone will approve your records. Time mentioned YPM; and I can assure you from my own personal experience that this OP will keep this process as smooth as possible for you. I was a skeptic with a notsogood first ROP experience behind me when I went with YPM. I've not had one glitch or time of uncertainty since I went with YPM.
What you might consider is going to the YourPainManagement.com website. Then, click on the forum link. There is a section there for "pre-consult" questions. It may be very helpful to you. You can also PM Chris or Stephanie at the YPM site and ask for their help. Keep in mind, though, that the decision as to the usefullness of your records is completely with the physician and/or PA ... even these ROP personnel can't say with 100% certainty that the doctor is going to approve your records.
But they can give you good idea if it sounds promising. I did that before I ordered.. gave Chris an accurate description of what I would be faxing; and he told me that it sounded like they would be approved.. They Were! Yours sounds good to me, but I'm no doctor and have little to no knowledge of the medicine you're wanting to request. Also, I do know that YPM offers 3 refills.
Good Luck

all OPs have wildly differnt standards as far as what qualifies as "legitimate" records. that is why no one can answer your question homie.

Thank you Spondy...
You are correct, if someone has questions about their records, they can contact me, and I will call Ron (or e-mail), and pre-ask, based on the information that the customer has given me, about what they have to fax in. He can usually give me a general idea over the phone, and then I will call the person, and relay the info.
If during the consult, Ron wants to see more records added, or a more current set of vitals etc....he will go over those specifics at the time of consult.
We (OCS) are trying to keep up with new guidelines, but to the best of my knowledge (I am not a doctor....) this is what would be sufficient (atleast to begin a treatment plan): a current physical (within the last year), the doctors want to make sure your vitals are ok, ensuring your body is healthy enough to be RXed the medication. The condition notated by your Physician, that outlines the condition for which you are seeking pain management medication. Discharge records, ER visits, Photocopies of RXs, would not be sufficient. Build a medical history with your OCS, everytime you visit a doc, just grab a copy on your way out the door, and send it to your OCS to put in your records. Last week one of my customers had to do a new visit with a PCP, and he asked me what he should send me from his visit, I asked him to grab a copy of his initial questionnaire (you know the one that asks about your grandmother and did she have diabetes...LOL), and send it over as well. I figure it can't HURT to have everything.
Building a medical history is key.
I have a blurb somewhere on my forum that Ron asked me to post (he wrote it), that outlines what he and Doctor T consider strong records, it would not be a bad idea for any of you to read it, and use it as a starting point in getting your records together to send in, to your OCS. Of course I would copy and paste it...but I don't remember exactly where I posted it. It's around though, just ask someone.
Hope this helps.

YourPainManagement is the best. No B.S., no 3rd grade games & I am happy that I get the taste of the last OP out of my mouth now. Was considering other OP's, but YPM helps out every step of the way. Very professional & I am very satisfied. They continue to grow. Very very impressed. Stephanie even got me a consult the same day after faxing records+.

I have never seen anything like it before when dealing with an OP. It's all business over there at YPM. I sent in my records & had a consult after the doc. looked at my records 1 1/2 hours later. I knew that my records were more than sufficient. I know Stephanie & Chris from my prior OP & they are building a great company with strict standards, but they are honest & work extremely hard to satisfy the patient, as long as they have what is required. I had all of that & was treated like gold. I have nothing but positives to say about them.
