I too received a email from the doctor today- after he told me that he would prescribe meds - that my records were not sufficient - carpal tunnel syndrome. They also have my $120 consult fee - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH FEDEXMEDS until they get their stuff together - THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!

Or, cut bait and run to another OP. As risky as this OP venture is for Dr's, once he put his foot down it's proabably a waste of time to get him to change his mind-hence the no help responses to your queries. Fortunately, there are many other places she can go. That's my recommendation.

Yeah. Look at my OLD Fedxmeds posts. I had nothing but good things to say. I don't know what happened, but this OP isn't what it used to be. Now, out of the blue, people don't get their calls from the Doctor/PA on time, and many have been given ONE fill on their Rx, and cut off after using Fedxmeds for a long time! I can do without that. There are other OP's.

I had a consultation due with fedxmeds today. I gave my cell phone number and when the call came i hit the wrong button and it basically disconnected the call. I waited for the phone to ring again.......nothing..... i kept waiting and nothing. I then checked the caller id and called back the number that had called and got a message saying the mailbox was full. He never called me back. I had paid alot of money for this consult and my meds needed to go out today due to the upcoming holidays or it was not going to be receiving it until next monday/tuesday at the earliest (4 to 5 days from now due to sat. being new years day.
This really upsets me that me accidently pressing the wrong key on my phone will cause me a 4 to 5 day delay because this dr. would not simply push 10 digits on his phone again. I put a post in to fedxmeds message area and it has not even been read (9 hours now). I also tried to reschedule the consult and they were not even scheduling anything till the 3rd of jan. All of this is days away.
Of course i've alreayd paid my money and I have to think that if the payment was made at the time you speak with the dr. then...... the dr. would have probably been a bit more motivated to call my number again. Since they already had their money........he didn't try again ...... i wait days.
Great service............

I second this! Same thing happened to me last month. I spoke with John and had what I believed to be another successful consult, but the doctor e-mailed me that he wouldn't prescribe anything based on my records. The thing is that the EXACT SAME records were good enough for the SAME doctor to prescribe three times previously. I didn't read it unitl I got home at 6 o'clock, but the rejection e-mail I received was actually sent BEFORE I even had the consult! The real odd thing is that the e-mail came from the FedXmeds doctor @United-RX.com and NOT FedXmeds.com. The moral of the story is that I had read several warnings here that this would happen but continued to use them. I was fine for a while but then my number came up and was cut off cold turkey. If that's ever happened to you then you know just how lousy it is. I wish I had payed attention to what had happened to other folks and moved on before it was too late and paid out lots of "ransome" $$$ to NROP's to get me through. I've decided to go with SWMG as soon as I get my updated records.

I feel so bad for those of you who got "ripped off by Dr. Rippy" here. I do not like to bash any OPs, so I kind of tried to warn you all several months ago that this was going to be the wave of the future. I was a very satisfied customer of Fed Ex for about 2 years, but when the change took place I could smell the smoke of the fire. I guess you learn not to ignore the signs. Your best bet now is to cut your losses and find a reputable OP. I did the research, read the DB boards, and went to a fabulous OP. I could not be more pleased with them! I wish you good luck!

Ronnie,
I remember when you warned everyone. I heard so many horror stories about fedxmeds that I didn't bother to try again.
Here it is months later and people are still trying to get what they need, obviously, from a Dr. that doesnt care.

My friend used FEDEXmeds back in Nov. John called everything was fine. Then he too got an email saying the Dr. would not prescribe. (Dr. R - strikes again) then my friend emailed John at the site. CS said they did not know what was going on and that the script was at the pharmacy. Next day here it came. Confusing but it still worked. I do wish they would get rid of Dr. R. he is a strange duck.

Guys, it is time to let go and get smart! The writing has been on the wall for months! I hope you all find greener pastures elsewhere, but you have to stop hanging around for more captial ($$$) punnishment! Do not throw your money away and try to invest it in an OP that will give you the service you need. No lecture, just angry to see people getting taken.

I had a consult with the Dr. last Fri with fedxmeds. He was a nice guy. The consult was brief (longer than phone consults from other ROP's), but he asked about my pain, etc. They accepted my records and the Dr. prescribed me medicine. Today though, I got a letter from University Physicians Resources. It was a "request for physician examination". It notes that "with results, your medical records will be up-to-date and we can continue your care.

Has anyone had any experience with this letter and the form attached? Will I have to get it filled out and have the dr. fax/send it to them to get a refill? I wish I had known this before I used them. They didnt used to do this, but I haven't used them in about a year. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, this is my first post, but I have been lurking around for a while, and was a member of another message board who is changing things. So, Hello.

Well darn! It was one of the few who would ship to Missouri. Or is it the pharmacy (United, in this case) who make those decisions?? Anyway, I guess I'm going to have to find another OP who will send my meds to Missouri.

I hope I didnt confuse the previous poster. I just dont know whether I will have to send in the physician form before my refills.

sounds like the same form that Dr Appointment uses. You need to have it filled out to prove youve had a physical, you are who you say you are and you have a problem. Im order to get your refills.

I think the Dr from Dr Appointment used to work with University.

Im pretty sure that its not United sending you that form since a pharmacy really has nothing to do with treatment and records and many people use United with other places and havent posted anything like that.

Good luck

I don't know what to say, but I just had a consult today and everything went well. They had the records from 8 months ago and didn't request anything further. Dr said that he would prescribe 120 10/325 with 2 refills. I have never had a problem with FEDEX. I hope that possibly their problems are behind them. I'll post if I get a request for more info.

Had consult tuesday 2/22. Still waiting on script. Today the pharm. says its on hold and call blah blah blah number. I call and they want the medical form. This AFTER they sent out email saying disregard the form. I paid for NOTHING and I am not happy. I have used them for a very long time but this is crazy stuff going on. One side does not know what the other is doing.
The number I was told to call said that fedexms. should not have sent out the email at all and they will not prescribe w/out it.

Which pharmacy? Was the number for fedxmeds or something else? we don't need the number if you don't want to supply it, but could you tell us who (what company) or whatever??

What kind of form? At what point in this process did they send the email?

by "w/out it." do you mean "the form"? Why or how did you NOT pay for a consult? This is very confusing to me. I have been a customer of Fedxmeds, and would like to continue if possible. Please explain what has happened. Thank you.

I got the same email that stated that a letter had been sent out by mistake and I received my meds the next day from United. I don't know if I have just been lucky of what but I haven't had any issues. Today, I did receive a letter from FedEX dated 2/18/05 and it is a letter requesting that my normal Dr to fill in some basic info (to check yes or no to 6 questions). The letter then states that my records will then be up to date and they can continue my care. Anyway, I will continue to post to let you know if my 2 refills are filled by United. I am not planning to go to my Dr for at least another 3 months and don't plan on having the form completed until then.

Anyone heard the latest on fedexmeds? Something wierd is going on over there or maybe united. Consult on Friday and it has been over three days so far and no tracking number. Never had a problem with them before. I guess it was just a matter of time until my luck ran out. I will psot a follow-up if they straighten this out.

Fedxmeds may have a current problem but United just shipped my last remaining refill from my consult with Fedxmeds in December. The problem isn't with United, they have been the most reliable pharmacy on the net the past 5 years IMHO.
