I've been very impressed with the information here -- and the positive experiences.
MedsMadeSimple may actually be onto something here.
I'm making the switch to OP from NROP so I may so ahead and use these guys.
What are the current prices for:
#90 Hydro 10/500
#90 Hydro 10/325
#90 HYDRO 7.5/750
?

I think (without checking) that the #90 Hydro 10/500 were about $43 - by far the best OP price I've ever run across! I believe I paid $22 for FedEx overnight. Due no later than noon, came at 8:30am.
The pharmacy is in Colorado (yippee, no hurricane problems)! and they get two thumbs up from me for absolutely suberb all around service. I really like how easy it is to navigate the site - refills are a breeze. Let's hope this place will be around for a very long time! (And with the level of service and the low prices, they should be).
I don't think there is any way you can go wrong giving them a try. One thing, they are pretty strict on records, but if you have that together, it's smooth sailing. Good luck to you.

How many refills come with the consultation? Do you have to pay for a new consult whenever you need a refill, or do they give you 3 or 4 per consult, like NWW and yod?
Thanks for the help!

They give a total of 3 including the initial RX. And, no, you don't have to pay for a consult for each refill. They don't give as many total refills as YOD or YPM, but their prices are SO cheap that I think you're still ahead of the game. Or at least not behind - haven't done the math!

I noticed in there FAQ section it says they have a doc in your state contact you for consult.. In my state they have a controlled substance data base & docs are required to report those scripts.. This could really be a conflict if you go to ER or doc for a physical or whatever.. I could just see trying to defend your relationship with your OP..(what a nightmare),, Anyway I emailed them & asked if there Docs are required to report to these data bases.. Never did get a response..hmmmm??? Just passing this info along.. Take Care, Yadayada

I am posting on someone else's behalf.
It was too good to be true!
They have dropped out of site!
Had refills coming for 3 days, and the pharmacy phone goes to a mail box that no one answers. No one at MMS has replied to any E-mail's. They didn't charge for the attempted refill, just the same no meds. No customer service, no answers from Jason.
They are gone like the wind!

Suzie,
Of course, it's very common for people to conjure any idea they wish from whatever information or lack thereof that they may have access to, but, as this is on behalf of someone else, let me very directly say that your assertion that MMS is gone - in any way - is totally untrue.
As for Brighton Pharmacy, they are also quite open and serving people every day. Brighton has installed a dedicated MMS phone line, in addition to their normal toll-free number and direct lines.
MMS is alive, well, and growing day by day. If you or the person you posted on behalf of would like to contact us, please do so at 412-204-8060, as always. Or, if you would prefer, write to us at

I wonder if their price list on meds is current? Excellent prices from what I can see. I have used fedxmeds in the past but am now leary from all the negative feedback.
I'm about ready to get my records together here. Does this place contact your Dr.?

Don't be worried. No, they don't call your doctor (at least they didn't with me & I doubt with anyone else) and the prices are the absolute lowest I've ever seen. I only have a good report to give for these folks. Why don't you call or drop them an email if you're concerned and perhaps they can answer any questions. Jason helped me out and was super nice. Good luck!

The price list is current - in fact, Brighton Pharmacy has guaranteed it for our Members for two years - through November 2006. No price increases on the horizon.
I hope this helps!

On the opening page of the MMS page on this website, it states that Dr. Lieberman is the physician. Does anyone know if this is the same Dr. Lieberman that is the MD for the DoctorbyPhone website (you can see that listed under the DBP under US LIST)? Anyone?

What is the process for getting a tracking number? I had my first consult yesterday morning & the nurse-practitioner (very thorough and polite, BTW) said the script would go to the pharmacy for Saturday delivery.
Never got an e-mail from the pharmacy & when I called the pharmacy at 6PM EST--which would be 4 PM Mountain time, I believe, I got a recording stating that the pharmacy was closed and that pharmacy hours were 8:30AM to 5PM Mountain time...so shouldn't they have been open at 4 PM Mountain time? Also, the "dedicated" MMS line did not permit me to leave a message.
This AM, I left a message on their regular 800 number. We'll see what happens. It would be much preferable to have the tracking number available with my account info on the MMS page.

Couldn't agree more about the tracking #. My story is identical to the one above. I ordered Saturday deliver out of sheer desperation...and I can't get an answer from MMS, Brighton Pharmacy, or anyone else. I will admit...my consult was late in the day...but the practitioner promised Saturday delivery. What's up?

My consult was early in the day & FedEx has already confirmed that there is no package for me. The pharmacy & MMS are no responders. Not a great first impression.
OTOH, my CC hasn't been charged.

Both of you have a made a few assumptions which I hope I can clarify for you...
MMS & THE PHARMACY :
MMS is NOT the pharmacy. The pharmacy ships your package. They own and operate the shipping accounts from Brighton, CO. We have no way of sending you this information, because we do not receive it in our system until the pharmacy enters it next to your order in our web site.
TRACKING INFORMATION :
Pharmacy personnel logs into our web site just as you do. They enter tracking numbers, and costs for your medications and shipping. When they submit this information, it then updates your Order History on our web site, which provides you account management information, and also sends this tracking information to you as an email from our web site. Until the pharmacy receives and enters your tracking information into our web site, we have no way of providing it to you. We are happy to work for you to contact the pharmacy during business hours.
MMS BUSINESS HOURS :
Our business hours are clearly stated as 9:00AM - 6:00PM EST Monday through Friday. If you've called our phone system, you have also heard our business hours listed. We are happy to assist you during these hours, but today is Saturday.
If either of you has a problem receiving your package, let's make sure we all understand where the problem is. MMS staff are happy to help you with any information we can track down for you. Brighton works very hard for all of our Members. They also fill for other Consult Services, but you can compare prices to see who is actually working for you...
If your consult was completed late in the afternoon, you MUST understand that the pharmacy does not guarantee shipment that day. ALL pharmacies do everything they can to keep their customers happy. You are their customer as much as you are ours. They do have to have time to fill your prescription, prepare it for shipping, and get it out the door. Normal cutoff time for this is typically 2:00PM on any given day, but often, if they are able, they will continue to fill until their shippers arrive and they do everything possible to get prescriptions out the door.
If either of you want to contact me directly to allow me to work through these details with you I will be happy to help you. If you prefer to just voice your frustration without having all of your details straight, I am not sure I will be able to make you happy, but I will give it my best shot...

I just replied to another post regarding the actual differences in costs from one Online Consult Service to another and I think that it might be of interest here, as well.
There are MANY good OCSs available to chronic pain sufferers. Choose the best service to meet your individual needs. Regardless of which service you choose for your particular needs, remember that your healthcare dollars are yours to spend - choose the service which provides you the greatest value for the service.
MedsMadeSimple.com is affiliated with Brighton Pharmacy, located in Brighton, CO. Brighton has guaranteed prices through November 2006 for Members of MMS. These prices can be located at http://www.medsmadesimple.com/pharmacies.cfm. These prices are the lowest prices you will find of ANY Online Consult Service/Online Pharmacy. While prices for consults may vary, and you may "save" money by paying for a consult only three times per year depending on the OCS, you pay for your medications EVERY MONTH.
REFUSE to pay more for the exact same product! Some Members of MMS have reported cost SAVINGS OF MORE THAN $1000.00 per year or more, based on their individual prescription needs.
*For sake of comparing the four following services the total medication cost is multiplied over a 12 month period. Compare the TOTAL ANNUAL COSTS of all four popular services below and learn how you can SAVE as much as $478.24 a year with MedsMadeSimple for Watson brand generic Hydrocodone 10/325. For our complete price list, please visit http://www.medsmadesimple.com/pharmacies.cfm.

Just want to report another good experience with MMS.
Scheduled consult late 2/20
Had consult early 2/21
Received Fedex tracking # late 2/22...
and I'll have my meds by 10am tomorrow, 2/23 (90 norcos)
I probably would have been able to receive my meds today but there was an issue with my records that I had to clarify.
I dealt with Kristy this time and she was great.
The total cost (consult, meds & priority overnight) came to $171.86.

Hey! Sorry if I posted this twice,I think maybe I forgot to push submit last time. Anyhoo... my question is has anyone ever had a problem with a refill with MMS ? I have a refill due today 2/24 but there is no place to go to refill it! I believe last month when it was refill available there was a submit button and it took you to a refill page. However there is nothing there to submit.Hmmm anybody have any suggestions? I wrote to them but not sure about their time zone, and I have to go out most of the day.So I wanted to get this taken care of this morning. Is there anyone from MMS who checks in here ever? Well thanks for any help !
