forget where meds are?
      #225898 - 02/17/05 08:40 AM

Did u ever forget where u put your meds? I take others besides pain meds and i keep all my meds seperate away from my young kids and my wife works for a docs office and there are always tons of samples in my house for different friends and family members and i dont like mine mixed in with theirs. So I keep my meds down in my cellar so last night I take my last dose before bed and i dont feel like going downstairs so i put the bottle under my desk which is very cluttered (naturally since i'm lazy) anyway i come down this morning and i reach under the desk and the bottle is gone!! i have no idea where it is and i start wondering did i even put it there i cant remember lol i pull all the [censored] out from under the desk and still no bottle now i'm worried because i am thinking one of the kids found it but it was late and they were in bed.We have a resident mouse and i'm thinking no way did this mouse carry off the meds bottle so i am looking all over the livng room i have a flashlight out and lo and behold i find the bottle mixed in with a pile of shoes next to my couch! i'm just guessing but it looks like my dog(that I still dont know how he got under there) got it, played with it and then dropped it in with the shoes and toys lol-we have a pill bottle filled with pebbles that he loves so i guess he put 2 and 2 together and figured he had a new toy lol anyway the moral of this story is dont be lazy, clean your desk and buy your dog a real toy!! lol i figured it was a funny story to share

Cute story, Tony.

I forget everything. I stand up from my desk to do something, by the time I get to the end of the cube (and it's not that big, lol), I forget what I got up for. My latest example is this: I went to pick up girl scout cookies that my daughter was delivering. The woman whose house it was got on my cell with my sister after I called her- when she got off the phone, she handed the cell back to me- I'd forgotten it was mine and couldn't figure out why she was handing it to me. We'd arranged for my sister to come pick up the bulk of my cookies, but when I got them sorted out, I was asking for help to get them to my car. Oish! I can't remember the little things for long- I suppose that's why I don't move my meds

Sigh, not me...Thats my life line...lol
Matter of fact I have 8 diff scripts and I could tell you exactly how many were left in each bottle...and I get 3 months at a time, so Im not talkin about 30 some odd pills...Im talking 720-180 pills per container....lol
Lose mine? Not a chance....lol
But that is a cute story...wanted to say funny, cutes not very manly, but hey I know there is nothing funny bout losing your meds!
