I' sorry about your experience with them Terrence. Who was your Doc? Was it with Dr L.? I think they have two Docs (I know they have at least two Dr's).
I have had two consults with Dr. L. I have thought he was just great. I talked actually to him both times, not a PA. It wasn't just the usual, short, "What do you want; How many per day?" NWW type consults. My first consult with him was very nice. It lasted about 10 minutes. I felt comfortable to ask as many questions as I wanted. He gave me some suggestions I hadn't heard before.
He also answered some of my concerns about taking all the tylenol that in the Lortab, and he made me feel a lot better about it.
He wrote me a script for #120 10/500 with 3 refills on both of my consults. He even discussed with me the option of using compounded meds, but we both decided that I didn't need to go the compounded route.
I'm sorry you had trouble, but if you didn't get Dr L., try and request him next time.

I take hydrocodone 10/500... quantity 60 per month for my back... i pay $40 for my doctor's appointment (office visit) and $45 for my meds... the only problem is i have a reeeaaalllyyy bad back from where i had lyme's disease when i was a child, scoliosis, and on top of that wrecked and hit a pole 3 years ago and did further damage. 60 just doesn't last me a whole month, but my doctor won't prescribe anymore because he says i'm "too young to take anymore than 2 per day". I am 26, but that doesn't matter if you're in pain! i am just wondering if maybe i should try this website instead of visiting him every 2 months... and would they give me an extra pill per day? what does this website need from him? i know it will [censored] him off if i switch doctors, because he is my parent's doctor as well. my only prob is that i have no med. insurance, so i have to pay out of my pocket, and i'm just wondering if this may be a better bet in the long run before i try it. it seems to me like this would save me money in the long run(and give me an extra daily dose), because there is more quantity and i don't have to pay that office fee every 2 months... just every 3... thanks so much

I don't think this will save you money as the consult is $120.00 but they do have a discount posted on their website for $15.00 off all new consults so that brings it to 105.00 the first consult then $120.00 every 3 months (if they do 3 refills and not the standard 2 most give).
Meds are usually at least somewhere between $100 to &114.00 with shipping a month (if they do 90 to 120 count).
so actually it would cost you much more! I can tell you these places are not here to be cheaper than your doctor. we have to just pay more to get the meds we need. sometimes alot more!

I had my second consult today with accurate and I am getting my meds tomorrow . They have great customer service yes you do need current records and any mri's etc. if you have them plus an exam no less than 6months old. but at least you know that they are above board. I would feel leary about a company that did not require these records.

I just wanted to add that with the vip discount your consult would be $95.00 for your first consult and you get #120 pills which would allow you 4 pills a day if needed. You also get 3 refills. Any other consults after the first is $85.00 and you don't need a discount code, this is just automatic for anyone. So, actually you will only have to consult every 4 months and get #120 pills a month. Hope this helps you make up your mind.

I;m glad you've had good results with Accurate. I had a terrible experience with them! It wasn't the dr. it was the customer service! I will never use this group again!
