I had the same problem yesterday with my package, where it showed "In transit" instead of "Out for delivery". I got my package anyways. I think UPS isn't updating their site once it gets to your local hub for some reason. Someone else on here had the same thing yesterday as well and he got his package just fine.

Does anyone know if the same problem happens with Fedex? I had an order ship yesturday from Maryland and it has been #In Transit# since last night. No updates at all.

Thanks for any help.

As far as tracking a package, I have one due for del. today but the tracking website shows it in a town 300 miles away in a hub, if that is the problem you are having then I think it's their computers.

I have a package that says BIR since yesterday. I called the company and they said that it shipped yesterday.

BIR is different from this situation, in that BIR means the pharmacy has printed you a label but has not shipped it yet.I have a package due today, it tracked on time till last night and has not updated since. It always says 'out for delivery' when you use a valid tracking number on date of delivery.Mine is due but doesn't say so on the tracking site, and I think gtor is having the same trouble. So I dunno if my package got rerouted or not. I called but you can tell they don't know [censored] and if they did they would not tell you.

If it says BIR then it was not shipped yesterday. It just means the co that you ordered from assigned a tracking # to your package and it is waiting to be picked up. You could also call UPS 800# for further details, but that has always been my experience. These outfits try and blame UPS or whichever shipper, but 9 times out of 10 it is their fault! I'm betting it will be picked up today and you'll have more info after 9 pm tonight.

My shipment showed as being stuck in Pittsburgh at 4:30 AM today but the man in brown just came about 10 minutes ago. It never showed the package leaving Pittsburgh and coming here then going out on the truck for dleivery like every other time.

Interesting... Very very interesting...

as I said in a different thread..this happened to my friend friday before last...hers said Out for delivery on friday morning at 2am!! it never updated again.and it NEVER came..3 days later it still kept saying out for delivery and the est. date of delivery would update each day, of course UPS is "tracing it" but do you ever think it will be found???HELL NO! So many theives at UPS...this happens at least once a month in our area between the 3 people that I know who order meds...that is just too much of a coincidence...and its funny it never happens with fedex.

Same think is happening to me. My package still shows it is in a different city as of the 30th! No updates! I hope I am as lucky as the rest of you who ended up getting their delivery even though it doesn't show it is on the truck for delivery. This is ussually the time the driver shows up but the say they had until 7pm. I am so nervous! I can't stand UPS. This never happens with fedex. I feel sick.

I just got my package. They are running really late on deliveries where the driving conditions are sucking due to rain or sleet. There is hope. If you don't get it by 6 call cs and make them get in touch w/ ypur hub to see if the package is ther. Good luck!

I know gtor72, it was a rough day. I was on pins and needles because I don't have enough money to stock up to avoid being w/out. It has happened before so i was sweating all day. Glad they finally got to you!

I just needed to vent about recent experience with UPS - I ordered from oceanpills on 1/23 (Sunday). Had a working tracking number monday night, delivery scheduled for wednesday, 1/26. Unfortunately, I missed the driver, but figured I would see him the next day. On 1/27, I had left the MO with another adult at home while I was out. When I got home, I noticed there was a post-it from UPS stuck on the downstair's neighbor's door - it wasn't the regular guy I guess and he went to the wrong door, and of course, did not bother to try the OTHER door, which was mine!! So I figure, okay, one more try I knew I would be home on Friday 1/28. I checked the tracking number later that night, and it said RECEIVER NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIRD DELIVERY ATTEMPT - PACKAGE RETURNED TO SENDER -- and it had only been the second attempt!! I was so mad, but stupidly, instead of calling UPS, the next day I went and cashed my MO since I hadn't filled it in, figured I would reorder somewhere else and get a new one. My regular UPS guy usually comes around 1 pm, and he hadn't shown up so I figured it was a bust. Well, 6 pm Friday evening the doorbell rings, and it's him, the regualr driver, with my package. So I have no MO, and now it is the REAL third attempt, I was so mad. I told him about what it said on the tracking number, he said it was a sub driver that day, maybe the company will redeliver. Anyway, sorry to go on and on, I was just so p*ssed that my order went fine, then things got screwed up by UPS!!

I sent an email to ocean explaining what happened and asking if they can re-ship, does anyone have any thoughts if they might do this?
