Do you mean what length of time do you have to use all the refills on a prescription or when the meds expire after your refill? Meds usually expire after one year. As for how long you have to use all your refills, it probably depends on the pharmacy. Why don't you ask the pharmacy that you are using.

Refill on controlled meds is 6 months from the date prescription was filled. Non-controlled meds are 1 year from the date prescription was filled.
