do you have to know the address of the hub or do you let the OP know you want it held at the fedex hub? and do you have to know the address of the hub?
any help would be appreciated!
I usually just tell the pharmacy to tell the deliverer I want it held at the hub. My OP emails me tracking numbers too so I can check and make sure online that the package will be held at the hub. If I discover for some reason it was going to be delivered to my address, I will contact the deliverer and, using the tracking numbers I got emailed, tell them I want it held at the hub. I suggest you do the same.
I was told to give the shipper the address of the hub. You should have the shipper put the address, city, state, and zip of the hub and YOUR phone number. Also, on the shipping form there should be an area where the shipper will state "hold for pick-up at hub". When I have done a pick-up on Saturday, I had them state "hold for Saturday pick-up at hub". I would suggest you go ahead and get the address yourself to give to the shipper just so there is no mistake. The shipper should know how to fill out the billing slip, but I like to dot all I's and cross all T's so there's no confusion. You can get your hub's address by calling them or going to the FedEx website.
Thanks everyone for your input. So far it looks like it will not be delivered overnight, and I will be in another state because of an emergency. I wonder if I can get the OP to change the shipping address to the fed ex hub of the city I'll be in instead of home hub where I thought I'd be tomorrow.

After fedex makes 1 delivery attempt you can call fedex and have the delivery address changed to where you are. They say the charge extra, but they didnt when I did that with UPS.
