I crushed my heel 3 months ago. I was on Percocet for about a month. I feel the pain mostly when it gets cold and it is very cold now. I refuse to go back to my doctor as all she gives me is anti-inflammatory's which don't help and give my restless leg syndrome. I would like to find something with codein possibly Tyl #4 that would ship to Canada.

Is your heel inflamed or just painful? If it's not inflamed, anti-inflammatories won't do any good and your doctor should know that. You might want to talk to another doctor, if yours isn't taking your pain seriously.
Remember that T1 and aspirin w/codeine are available OTC in Canada. They're not as strong as prescription meds (only 8mg codeine per tablet) but it might be an option until you can get a doc to take your pain seriously.
I READ YOUR POST AND I WOULD CERTINLY FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR..MY HUSBAND SHATTERED HIS HEAL AND ALSO HAD TOO HAVE IT FUSED ..I BELIEVE WHAT SO SAYING MY HUSBAND SUFFERS ALOT ESPECIALLY IN THE COLD MONTHS.. HES BEEN TAKING VICODIN 10'S FOR 6 YRS WITH THE ANTI-IMFLAMMITORY WHICH IS ONLY TAKES FOR SWELLING NOT PAIN....IM FEEL FOR YOUR SITUATION..FIND ANOTHER DR..TRY RAYMEDS OR SOME OF THE OTHERS U SEE ON THE POSTS..ITS HARD TOO KEEP UP WITH THEM CUZ THEY CHANGE THEIR NAMNES FROM MOTH TOO MONTH..GOOD LUCK
Yes I agree with SanjiKitty buy the 8mg over the counter and check to see if you can separate the codiene from whatever else is in the product. Probably much cheaper than buying higher does which basically would be 15 mg plain (could run you anywhere from .50 to $2.00 a piece.) Don't take the junk just the codiene in the amount that you think will help relieve the pain or make you think you are getting some pain relief and then seek the assistance of a doctor who does not want to fill your liver with junk.
