What about purchasing one of those prepaid mastercards or getting one of the mastercard cards that is attached to your bank account? I have one of them and I use it all the time, it works just like a credit card. Either that or ask the OP to send it COD.

how does COD work?
can you really pay cash on delivery,or do you have to give them a check? and if you give them a check, then don't they get all yr bank accnt info anyway?

You have to give them a money order. They won't accept cash or checks. There's usually an additional charge around $8 or $9 for COD too.

Amscot, Walmart and others have no fee to create a money order. That's who I use.
