I had someone call and ask me how many pills I wanted them to ship. He was willing to ship up to 120 pills to me and that was with no records. I also had never heard of the pharmacy. It sounded a little scary to me so I told him that I wasn't interested.

Never got a phone cal but I get emails all the time about refills on meds. From companys I dont know. I think what is happening is someone leaves a company and takes records about customers with them. NOW TALK ABOUT JAIL TIME. Stealing medical records. Anyone have any thoughts about whats happening?

WARNING!!!! do not answer to these phone calls they are ripping people off, people think that they are part of express relief services and giving info to them and getting scamed !!! they are express services, and no part of express relief!!!check the site at: pharmacy watchers .com, and read the post express relief services, where their customers have posted about being scammed thinking that it was their rop.

Ordered from express pharm direct in an emergency situation.Paid almost 5 bucks per pill for 7.5/750s YIKES! They came fast and all accounted for but when it was refill time they called at least twice a day for weeks! Finally their do not call list kicked in and I hav'nt heard from them since. At that price no wonder they keep calling.

yeah they called my house last night at 845pm and left a message on my machine saying she was bernice from express services and that my refill was ready, to call them back before 10pm central time at 1-888-566-0166. She sounded like she was from the USA, no accent whatsoever. but I have never ordered from anywhere like this place, so i guess they've ripped off some info somewhere. I read on another board that they called this one girl who thought it was the real express services and she asked to speak to Hollie, and some girl got on the line and said "this is hollie" yet could not answer any of the questions related to xpress...seems like the post said she had already given the first girl her cc # before she realized it was a scam and they ended up charging her cc $799.00!!!! omg I WOULD DIE..especially if it were a debit card...geez...the lengths these places go to rip others off...pretending to be another person at a diff. pharm...that is just too much...

I spoke too soon. Just got another call and when I started asking questions they hung up. I feel like they must have traced my post or something.Weird! My advice would be to ONLY order directly from the site.

These calls pop up every few months. They buy a customer name and number list from an OP (likely an NROP or its pharmacy) and start cranking out calls offering meds via phone.
My best friend got the call from the latest group, "Express Pharmacy Services" or something similar. She told me how funny the call was. They said this is "her pharmacy" and "her refill is ready". She asked which refill and which pharmacy. They said they can give her any medicine she wants, just name the meds. She said if they are "her pharmacy" they should know what meds she takes. She feigned interest and asked for their phone # and was given the SAME 888 # that the above poster was given: 888-566-0166.
Oh yeah, she told me the call came in as "BLOCKED" on her called ID.
Again, these guys are very likely going to rip you off or give you some old inventory at huge markups. Since these drug boiler rooms continue to pop-up every month or two there must be some people who are taking the bait and buying.
Please share any additional info. on this latest group (or current incarnation of an old group) making these calls to web med buyers so folks can know what to look out for.
Hope this helps someone.

Hi All, when I have received those "pharmacy" calls, I always tell them thank you but I've got all the medication I need right now and please remove me from their list. Supposedly, once you have made a request that they not call and they do - you can report the number to the phone company and they become a part of that Black list of telemarketers who are not allowed to buy lists anymore. (or something like that) been a long long long day. . . and got even longer when the bank called to say my fiancee did NOT MAKE THE [censored] CAR PAYMENT in December. . . ICK

Funny, I have been 'harassed' for weeks now stating my refill was due. When they said that they were a US NROP, I could track my payment on their site and shipping by FedEx, I decided to give it the old college try. You can also order directly from their site at www.checkmypills.com

Great prices (lol). I think I'll pass on this one though. I may be able to find a site with a little cheaper prices, preferably one without the junk phone calls to go with it. God, do I hate these PESTS. I would NEVER buy anything from them. Please don't patronize these scammers.

Their not allowed by law to call me unsolicited
I was only giving other people another NROP by posting their website if anyone was interested...and what do you care what I do?

I know for a FACT these groups DO NOT use or care about the national "do not call" list. My friend who received the calls never ordered from them and is on the do not call list. In the past I was bothered several times by these people on my line which is also on the national do not call list and I never ordered from them either. I've also read of several others in the same situation, which leads me to believe that these folks do not really care about following the "letter of the law" when it comes to violating some very weak do not call law.
BTW, they also like to call at midnight and on Sundays if you screen their calls and don't answer their "BLOCKED CALL" on your caller ID for their first few tries, which I think is also not permitted by such telemarketing laws....
Finally, their recent telemarketing pitch was, "just tell us what kind of meds you take and we can get you anything without a prescription". Somehow this seems worse than calling people on a National Do Not call list that they don't even check. I doubt they care about being "black listed" and not able to buy mailing lists from traditional list vendors since they buy in the gray market from ex-employees of OPs or pharmacies that have gone out of business, plus they will be calling you again in a few months from a different boiler room anyway.
Can you tell I hate these people? Is anyone able to look up that phone number one of the groups gave out - 888-566-0166?

Next time they call threaten them. Or act real stupid. What I mean is have fun on there expense. These people have no business calling you so tell them you are with DEA or something funny. If one out of 10 buys the product they will continue this type of harassment. I learned a long time ago when it comes to money for some people the gloves are off , and they will do any trick to get you to buy there product. theres a name for this its called marketing.

Most of this junk I get is via email.....have no idea how they get my addreess......I am an AOL customer, and all this should be filtered as spam.......lately the "pop-up's" have started again......it's infuriating
I have records and never utilize NROP's or IOP's......have no idea how to stop it though......haven't received any of the phone calls yet, but we have a pretty strict "no-call" program in my state.

Today's daily special shows 213-596-0916 (California) for refills on my caller ID. I just let my answer machine take the calls. Let them keep wasting their time calling me. One of these idiots from Iowa called every day for 2 weeks, with 6 calls on one day (lol). All it takes is a couple of orders and these PESTS will never stop, just like spam. I just turn the ringer off on my home phone and have my cell phone for personal use.

This is so weird. The last 2 weeks, I've been getting calls from an "Express Pharmacy Direct". I have not ordered from anyone by that name. They don't leave a message, but I saw the number on my caller ID. I blocked my number and called the number and got a recording. Where did they get my home number??? I never give it out. Weird.

I think it all started when Allusascripts went under and probably sold their customer list. So if you have ordered from them or any other NROP since, that's how they probably got your phone #. I got a call too from someone calling themselves Pharmacy Direct just the other day. These people sure are PESTS.

sugahbugah - neuro is right, alot of the calls started when ALLUSASCRIPTS went under in mid-May 2004. I think they were run by the TropicalRX people (a NROP site that was around for a long time and went under about a year ago I think).
Allusascripts used a pharmacy in Miami called "RX-Direct" and filled from some affiliates too before they site got shut down.
Alot of people who got the calls in the mid summer said they used this site once or twice. People "investigating it" found pretty strong evidence that the pharmacy, RX Direct, had inventory left (and could get more) and was trying to milk their customer lists by selling drugs via targeted phone calls to OP users while they were in the process of setting up a new web site and new infrastructure. Later, there was similarly strong evidence that customer lists (with name, number, med used) from this site and at least 2 other OP and pharmacies were being sold to other slimy drug telemarketers...
They continue to pop-up and seem to react to posts on this board by changing phone numbers, caller ID displays, and their phone pitch....their current "special offer" on norcos without a doctor's script is: #160 for $749 ! (about $5 a pill - what a bargain)!
They also continue to pop up with new web sites that use the miami pharmacy and doctor (we all know him). There are at least 2 I know of that this group is running right now. The good news is they actually deliver while the sites are up, even though they charge outrageous prices for 60 counts of hydro. (starting at $2.50 per pill to get publicity, and going to $4.00 per pill before they get shut down).
Is anyone else getting calls lately? Does anyone have info. on the current wave of calls, their phone #, or their web site? I usually post everything I know when these calls happen to protect other users from getting ripped off and hope you will be kind enough to do the same.

They aren't all scammers. In my case they had all my info, what I had ordered and when, and their price was average. Delivery was quick and problem free. The doc and Pharm were same as a nrop I had used before, that had vanished. I think they were just calling their existing customers until they had their new site set up.

I too have been getting daily phone calls from "Meds by Phone" asking if I needed a refill. I asked if they had a website and they said it was under construction. So I tried to load their site http://www.medsbyphone.com and sure enough, it says under contruction. She would not answer all of my questions, but their phone number was not blocked and they did give me an #800 CS number. They said they are selling #90 10/325's for $289 and only accepted CC. Even though I told them "no thank you" they continue to call several times a day, but never leave messages. I called information and found out the calls were coming from Jamaica. But I think their 800 CS number is somewhere in the US.
