Has anyone actually used this IOP? They don't sell narcotics, but they do sell two medications I am looking for at very good prices (Topamax and Phenergan). I was wondering how quick/reliable they were. Thanks!

My doctor tried to put me on it (Topamax) for fibromyalgia. It seems to help people with chronic pain and sleeping problems. It is also suppose to make you lose weight. I never even filled the script. Topamax seems to have too many side effects. I know there are other meds that will help with out making me dyslexic (that is one of the side effects).

Only 60% of all topamax prescriptions are written for seizures, which was the original target market The rest is off-label uses. Among other things, topamax is widely used to treat chronic headaches.

I was prescribed topamax several years ago as a migraine preventative. It's worked rather well for me, with the only side effects being occasional tingling in my toes and a little thinning of hair at the beginning. It doesn't work for everyone and side effects for some have been worse than the original problem, but lucky for me that's not the case. Migraines are also the reason I'm looking for the phenergan. ALthough topamax helps to prevent the migraines, it doesn't prevent them ALL and the ones I get are doozies! Thanks!
