I received some hydro and they were HUGE blue pills with M361on one side. I don't doubt they are the 10/650 I ordered, (libertymeds.com) but they are not effective at all!!! I don't get it. I had Watson brand before, and they worked really well. I thought all hydrocodone was the same generic or not? Has anyone else experienced this? Thank in advance for all your responses!!! Trish

All generics have to be something like 99% the same. I think all they can change is nonactive ingredients like the coloring. Maybe they're old.

Yeah, those are called mallies, I forget the fullame of the company but I ask now before I order, because I don't like them. It must be the way they make them or the compound mixure they use, but it's not right. I suggest that you crush, or chew them up before swallowing. That seemed to help a little. I hope that helps.

Maybe they were old. I did try chewing them up though, but still didn't help. I've been taking hydro for awhile and have never had this happen. So Scarecrow, you said you ask before ordering? Did your OP honor your request not to be given the "mallies"? I'll try that for sure next time. I just ordered from Ephy because the mallies are so ineffective. I hope ephy doesn't send them too.

Generics can have a plus or minus 20% equivalent in active drug that metabolites in your blood. Over compressed (that effect some meds) to dissolve before entering thru the stomach lining and gets passed instead of entering the blood system. What they use as binders (chemicals to hold the pill together and keep their potency)If I'm wrong about the % someone let me know. That is what it was 25 years ago I believe.

The "mallies" are Mallinkroft, which is a pharm owned by a big company. I am surprised that they would have an inferior product. My experience with Watson products have been good. When in doubt, Watson!!

I just got some Watson's today. I can totally tell the difference!! (Actually, I think it's psychosymatic! lol) How sad is that!! lol Anyway, I'm feeling no pain right now, so all's well!!
