Meds are OK sent thru Fed-X and UPS. My health plan prescription plans has mail order plans for free scripts (no co-payment and small co-pays). They are sent to millions through mail order.

It is amazing to me that people stress out that a person is doing their job by delivering a package, and it is medication. You act like you are committing a crime. Are you???

What really cracks my arse up is how all these sites claim to ship in a "discret manor"!!! They mostly all ship packages with a displayed return address of a PHARMACY !! - AND (in ' case of c.o.d.) they expect us to write a M.O .order out to(for example): "Pay To: Online International & Ileagle Narcotics That Advoided U.S. Customs For The Past Week"

LOL!!! I must say that's rather hilarious even though I've recently had no choice in the short term but to go NROP. I'm not looking forward to that first COD pickup at the hub! They know me from the once a month pckups I used to get from United and they DEFINATELY knew what was in the package. At my hub there's a window into a back room where the pickups are and it was more than once I saw the UPS counter guy hold the package to his ear and shake it while making what appeared to be a smirking comment to a co-worker or two. Now they're gonna see me forking over almost $200 for what appears to be the same thing! Hope this is a one time emergency. I never knew how good I had it with a record OP until I lost them.

For me personally I really dont care what the driver thinks because people get meds in the mail all the time via their prescription plans. Also how many people order supplements of one kind or another via mail.Sending pills thru the mail is a lot more common than you think. They are getting paid to deliver my package not worry about whats in it so let them think what they want.just my little rant

The above poster is correct. Millions of packages of drugs are sent through the system monthly. More insurance companies are encouraging people to but through mail order companies so three months worth can be sold at a discount.
A side note. I have a co-worker who moonlights as a UPS worker at the local warehouse. He says the amt of pot that goes through their system is enormous.
BUT_I'm still waiting for the DEA/COPS film crew to jump out of the back of the truck. I've prepared my response in sdvance.

My UPS and Fedex drivers are always the same person and are really cool. [edit] I also take care of drinks for them which is mainly in the summer.

Say, that just might explain all the swerving 90mph vans that pass me on my local interstate everyday!

I agree that there are a TON of valid meds shiped out everyday, I know many that save money this way. However, most of the people I know that get their regular meds mailed to them, dont get them via c.o.d. It's only the ONLINE MEDS that arrive c.o.d.

Thats the problem: C.O.D. MED SHIPMENTS.

Everyone I know that orders meds via c.o.d. did it online. All those money orders we write out to "Online Lorcet With No Script.com" etc. is going to be the downfall of the no record sites... Lets be honest here, online med shoping is still a vey hotly debated topic, and we really dont want to advertise this stuff, gang

Case in point: The STATE laws are changing extremely quickly...more and more states are outlawing the legal op business everyday!! While most are concerned about the D.E.A. - they fail to ever think about all the STATE LAWS already in place! Has anyone else noticed an increase in posts asking people as to what state a N.R. site is shiping from?? (State L.E. people are watching these boards!) I say we shall not fear the D.E.A..... We better pay more attention to our STATE L.E. - even for us in legal states.

If people who are not commiting a crime are acting as if they are, then it is due to one reason...The climate of the US is hostile towards anyone taking any drug, due to a long string of rabid anti-drug Presidents, foremost Nixon and Reagan.

Doctors who legally and rightfully prescribe medication for pain are being dragged into the court system by a government agency that was given the ability to write the laws it enforces, the DEA.

They do not care if the people vote to legalize medications, they do not care if the Doctor is justly dispensing proper medication, and they do not care about your life liberty or happiness.

They want your assets, your land, and your body in jail to justify their ludicrous budget.

Where I work, you do NOT talk about medications you are on, especially if they alter your conciousness in any way... There is no surer way to get earmarked as the next person on the unemployment line.

If people are acting paranoid, it is because that even if they know in their hearts and minds that what they are doing is right, the law does not give a f***, and will joyfully destroy them and those they love if that is the whim of whomever stumbles across their activities, regardless of legality.

When an old man gets shot dead in his homes, and then his assests taken from his widow, even though the "agents" had the wrong address, why would someone be leary of receiving medication in the mail?

Got me...

EAH with all due respect and NO desire to start a flame war, I personally could not care less WHAT a Fed Ex driver thought of me or anything I was having delivered. What other people think of me is none of my business. The only people whose opinions of me as a person matter are my wife and my kids. If they say something I perceive as offensive we will discuss it. If they say something critical of my behavior I will take a look at it and make any changes I deem necessary or ignore it if need be. Strangers (including truck drivers ) opinions matter not one whit to me. Again, I type this with all due respect for a fellow board member....Bob

Honestly, I think part of the problem is that we get conflicting signals as to what is legal or not. In most states we have no state laws in place that prevents this, but the feds say one thing yet enforce another way. Many of us are simply unclear if we are in the clear of the law or not.

I know all my purchases are with domestic OP's, due to the posts about legal issues with IOP's. So, as far as I can tell I'm within the law where I reside. I have heard of no reports of a single customer geting into legal trouble ordering from a domestic OP, so I dont worry too much what the delivery people may or not think these days.
