Ambien vs. Sonata?

Does anyone have any experience with Sonata? It came out at the same time as Ambien, was advertised heavily, then relatively disappeared. I am visiting my prescribing doctor next month and would like some information on the effectiveness, characteristics and chemistry of Sonata vs. Ambien. Thanks!

ambien is a benzo and sonata is not....to that's the major difference.. Frankly I find any benzo much better than others for sleep disorders veres ofher sleep enducers...but that's just my opiion.
The sonata is a hypnotic, not a benzo, could be why it doesn't work ask well./..just a theory.. your really need to talk to a take abo=gu is... le ekno whwwhat he says ok?

I find ristoril woriks wi=ell ork well but is not partucularly lon acting, so usually have to tkae it several times a night just to get through a night Sounds like you nees dsoe serious sleep studies doe on you for you. GET A SLEEP STUDY...they hook you up to all ineds i uparatus of equipment and get some helthe goal is to sleep while they recorcd your sleep levels throughout the night...that tells them what med to prescribe.
